Gemini Rue is excellent, but I don't know about the other games.

I've been interested in Gemini Rue for a while, but since Date Warp and Bionic Heart are visual novels rather than actual games, and I have no interest in either of them, I doubt I'll pick this up.
I believe for a good bundle you can take a higher price point, but 40$ is really over the top. There was a strategy bundle for about 30$ where I knew 2 games and passed, here I only know one game.

For me bundles are a nice way to get a mix of games I want, some interesting unkown and games I'm not really interested. The price needs to reflex this balance.

Bionic Heart was interesting. I bought that for $15 awhile ago and got my moneys worth. It's one of those visual novels where you click options and different things happen, like 20 different endings and lots of plot branches. No nudity though iirc, but a few scenes definitely aren't kid friendly.

These are all kinda niche games. Watch the teaser vids and see if they'll be right for you :) I'd grab it myself if I didn't already own one.

Gemini Rue is supposedly pretty good. Date Warp I liked others by the developer, and she's always been getting better - this is one of her latest.

Planet Stronghold is a /shrug.

Yeah, that pretty much sums up exactly what my response to this was going to be. It doesn't look like the most tempting package out there at the moment. Poor timing with the Steam sale and all.

Gemini Rue is well worth getting by itself though. Even at full price.
Interesting, but $40? Ouch!

I only know Gemini Rue. never played any anime-like visual novel, if it was cheaper I would try though.

This pack reminded me of Downfall... went to look after it but the developer moved to China it seems.

Agreed, sometimes I want only 1 out of 5 games even though I end up buying the full pack.. still, I only get it if the price feels right.

$40 doesn't feel right.
It looks like when you get to the order page you can remove games to make the 'bundle' cheaper.
Since you can remove games what would be the best out of the bundle aside from Gemini Rue?

Bought the Gemini Rue after removing other games from the bundle and now waiting for e-mail with details about download.

I mean, really? No automatic transaction?
Ahh, if you can remove games then perhaps I'll give it a look. Since I already have Gemini Rue I wasn't prepared to pay $40 for 3 games. I might buy one or two of them for $10 each though.

EDIT: Ah, it seems like they're not $10 each. Rather, Gemini Rue is $7.50, the visual novels are $10 each and Planet Stronghold is $12.50. I'm the least interested in Planet Stronghold. I might have been interested in the visual novels if they were a bit cheaper... $10 still seems too much.

I always appreciate when people make posts like this to draw attention to indy games. +1 for you!
Gemini Rue is excellent from what I've played, so that one's recommended, but the other games seem...eh...

Finally got the download link through to my gmail inbox. Can't wait to play Gemini Rue but really concerned about the whole checkpoint save system...
I really enjoyed playing Bionic Heart and Date Warp.
Bionic Heart is a bit archaic (as that was one of the first VNs made by Tycoon Games), but it still has quite an interesting cyberpunk story and makes up for any shortcomings by having 24 possible endings that all differ a lot.
Date Warp is technically very well made, has beautiful graphics and a bit mindscrewy plot that is wholly understood only after finishing all 11 endings. My personal shortcoming was, I didn't really buy the plot premise and some of the endings felt weak.
