Too bad that I wouldn't be able to get Sword of the Stars: The Pit DLC DRM-free also. I'd rather not buy the game from them and not even have the choice of getting the DLC. They should have included a GOG key or something.

And Tower Wars is Steam only.
Can GOG's Swords of the Pit DLC work with IR's copy as they are both DRM free?
If not hmmmmm......
I already have The Pit on Steam and GOG, but I guess I really need that Desura copy... :D
Great game.
Mmm... meh. And the Indie Royale's mystery games have been always... meh (:P). Pass.
Now that is a good bundle.
I was thinking over Sword of the Stars The Pit before, so I went ahead and got this bundle.

I contacted them to ask if either the GOG or Gamersgate versions of the DLC will work with the Desura version Indie Royale provides. When I hear back I'll post an update.

Fever_Discordia: "Bientôt l’été is a videogame for two players. Two players who pretend to be lovers. They pretend to be lovers separated from each other by lightyears of deep space. They have lonely walks along the shore of a simulated ocean, thinking wistful thoughts of each other. Thoughts from ancient Earth literature by Marguerite Duras. The empty beach, the strong wind, the gentle music and a small colony of electric seagulls are their only companions. Yet their heart is full and their mind confused. Walk along the shore, until they meet the emptiness. When it all becomes too much, they run towards each other. Enabled by intergalactic networks, they touch each other’s holographic bodies in cyberspace. A surreal game of chess becomes the apparatus through which they, man and woman, can talk. The words they have were given to them, as they have always been to lovers everywhere."

OMG I like an arty game now and again but this one sounds so far up its own arse it can feel itself in the back of its own throat!
Is there any legitimate way, after that post, for me to express how much I've been drawn to this title ever since I've heard of its premise ;P?
Probably not...
aside from the Pit rest of bundle is crap.doubt the dlc from here will work with it.remember someone else asked about dlc from here used with main games from elsewhere..answer was no?. no reason for gog to make sure their dlc works with games bought elsewhere.

HypersomniacLive: I guess you haven't played any games by Tale of Tales before?
None of their games can be classified as "mainstream", they're all sort of experimental in an artsy kind of way.
*googles Tale of Tales* Actually I do have The Path, it creeped me out though - having to get your young girl character caught by the pedo for points, may go back to it one day though...

LOL - it's inspired by Little Red Riding Hood, i.e. if the girls wander off in the woods it's only a matter of time before they cross paths with their wolf.
As for SOtS: the Pit, the game comes with a steam key so you could buy the "mindgames" DLC on steam for $4.99. I'd be surprised if they put DRM in the DLC. If you want the gog version buy it for full price on gog!

From the Dusty Cartridge review: "All I’ll remember about Bientôt l’été is that it made a bunch of jokes about French culture and I wanted to stick a power drill up my nose and scramble my brains the entire time... So is Bientôt l’été a complete failure? Not necessarily." Haha, but the game does sound interesting, if the multiplayer would work. Can you actually talk / text with the other player?

nijuu: no reason for gog to make sure their dlc works with games bought elsewhere.
Of course there is, seeing that they sell DLC separately and at prices close to those of their good old games. Getting someone to buy a $4.99 DLC for a game bought elsewhere will result in $4.99 more from that person than when they have to buy it at that other shop, too, because GOG's version is incompatible.

Mate. GOG only has obligation to their customers to ensure DLC bought here is compatible with the base version from here.

So? What does that have to do with anything you or I wrote before? You said there's no reason for GOG to make DLC compatible and I said yes there is. Obligation does not enter into this equation, it's all about the economical side of things. DLC is a product that GOG would like to sell, it's not a free bonus item for loyal customers.

Its not. But they have more other important things than making a dlc compatible with another stores products don't you think?. Do you think Humble and Gamersgate and Desura make sure their drm free dlc are compatible with GOG's base games? I sincerely doubt it
