PenutBrittle: Yeah. The Indie Royale account on Twitter confirmed it would make a return.

OmegaX: It's probably for the best because it would have certainly included Project Zomboid and I'd rather not give money to those guys.
Why not?

I assume because of the whole robbery thing.

The "we've been burgled and lost the most recent source with awesome features" one.

He probably likes to condemn people after they have committed an act of blatant stupidity.

Anyway I just wanted to say that I think a blind pre-order system is totally bogus. Take a hypothetical situation where you pay the minimum and you already own 3 out of the 4 games, and dislike the fourth one? Is that really worth the $3.99 USD? I'd rather get lunch than blow it on something I will never, ever use (I suppose you could give your codes out, but I'm not trying to pre-order for someone else). And if you decide to spend more money and this happens? Even worse. Lousy premise, IMHO, totally aimed at exploiting a certain tick within impulse buyers. I'm content to wait, thank you.

Devs had a beak and enter a while ago. The laptop with the code for the in-progress update was stolen, and they didn't have a back up. Months of work lost. Obviously a massive delay for the update. One of the devs got drunk and started melting down on Twitter, claiming he was going to take the preorder money and just stop developing the game.

Customers were not pleased.

SimonG: As anybody else noticed that the Alpha bundle is gone?
Oh yeah... I noticed a week or so ago that it had been moved to after the Xmas bundle. The original lineup shown at the bottom of the first bundle was 2nd, Big, Alpha. Then during the second, it was updated to Big, Alpha, Xmas. A while later they moved Alpha to after Xmas and now this!
The price for pre order should be set at minimum price when boundle launches. That idea with paying more is strange for me.
One thing is for certain, they really are dragging out the announcement. It better be a good one.
Eh the preorder is mostly there to allow people that like to pay big amounts to pay up early; you know the kind that drop 100 or more on the games whereby they are more giving donations than actually buying the games by paying so much (ie the games themselves don't matter).

By getting them in early it means less chance for them to be making bids during the process and thus letting the price rise faster.

Also as for the large amount of complaints - eh they are pitching a budget price on products, they'll always get people complaining at that point since you attract the kind of person who; if offered something free would hoom and harr and then ask you to pay them to take it.
The bundle is up. The games are:

Really Big Sky
Runespell: Overture
Cthulhu Saves the World
Eufloria
Breath of Death VII

Nope, everybody makes mistakes although theirs was pretty stupid. What bothers me about them was how they handled it on Twitter and their blog. Long story short, they said something like "we are real indies not like those others that wish they were working for a big publisher so what were you expecting, professionalism?". The guy was probably drunk but still. Also, their constant tweeting when they were supposedly on a deadline just seemed like procrastinating.
