Well, in turn, that doesn't necessarily have to be the case.

In a lot of bundles, IR provides both DRM-free downloads AND Steam keys. Prominent example: The Arclight bundle, for which every single game bar one had a Steam key and DRM-free download (that one game was a DRM-free download only).

Of course, it could be that IR/LindenLabs is aware of Desura's DRM-free reputation and is deliberately intending to mislead by using quotes like "all Desura".

Bundle has been leaked. Lots of repeats.

Oh dear. How Desura and IR have gone downhill since the takeover by LindenLabs.

Well, it used to be a healthy mix of interesting unknowns and averagely prominent indie titles, with the occasional mainstream title thrown in for good measure.

Now it seems to be constant repeats from previous bundles, half-baked alpha releases that are unlikely to be finished, and multiplayer games posted in a desperate attempt to increase server populations.

Even the earlier Debut bundles were better than the ones now.

And I won't even start with the absurdity that is the DailyRoyale.

I think the quality of the games are quite consitent, though off course there are weaker and stronger bundles:

The issue is more that there is more and more repeats, so it is more about getting new people to sign up than anything else. But that applies to most bundles these days, only groupees and a couple of the humbles seem to be able do non repeats now.

Woohoo, maybe this will finally drag down the card prices to something reasonable.

I can soon stop my day job, I make almost £2 per day on the cards this week. Wohooo. I am rich!

Well, if someone ends up with a spare Party of Sin key for Desura, I'd be willing to trade for that. But otherwise this bundle is a big ole miss for me.
