thebum06: Is Gas Guzzlers any good? I'm interested in an arcade racing game, but the reviews doesn't seem too positive.

Sound like a game that will be fun for a while. Possibly not worth full price, but at least worth playing for a few h.

jamyskis: Thank fuck for that. The last Chosen Bundle smacked so hard of "we can't find any games to include in the bundle so we'll do repeats and dress it up as democracy." Hopefully their fortunes have improved a bit since because I too have been finding the Indie Royale a little better than HIB of late.
I had been finding IR better than HIB, but I think IR have lost it a bit recently. I'm surprised to say that I think Groupees have been the most interesting to me recently.

Actually, now that you mention it, I'm inclined to agree. I didn't think of them. I've been finding the music and short films that Groupees bundles with its games particularly compelling, and they've been doing an interesting mix of stuff.

The only complaint I have is their inconsistency regarding DRM (they could, for example, have included the already existing DRM-free versions of Patrician 4, Blood Bowl and Drakensang), but then, this complaint can be levelled at Indie Royale (and now HIB as well).

But they really did a top job with their Sherlock Holmes bundle. I actually had most of them on Steam, but I bought it just for the DRM-free versions and a few of the games I didn't already have.

Yeah, sometimes there seems to be no reason for a lack of DRM-free version other than just not being bothered...

The one where they really shone was the Greenlight bundle near the end of last year. That one was amazing. All DRM-free and Desura keys where applicable.

It's funny how within an hour of me saying Indie Royale have lost it a bit they pull out this fantastic Arcen bundle though. :P

It's licensing problems usually. Otherwise known as superfluous lawyers trying to justify their worthless existence by complicating matters more than is necessary.
