God damnit. HOME REQUIRES A GAMES FOR WINDOWS PAD or something compatible.

I can't find a way to remap the buttons to the keyboard OR to my gamepad. I had to alt-tab and kill it with process manager. THIS IS BULLSHIT. >:|

According to Jayisgames you can play with the keyboard (2nd paragraph).
If this doesn't work natively, maybe you could contact support?

EDIT: I just noticed the changes in the latest version (http://homehorror.com/contact-support.html), so maybe Jayisgames article doesn't apply anymore.
I would give support a try.

Well, Sam & Max is Steam-only, and the only other game that looks mildly interesting is McGuffin's Curse. I think I'll pass on this one.

Home and Pathologic may be interesting games for all I know, but since neither trailer shows any gameplay whatsoever, I'm really not interested. When people try to promote their game by deliberately not showing the actual gameplay, I tend to get suspicious that it's because the game itself is not very good.
Pathologic has a nice nod to Leon The Professional.

Sam & Max comes with the Desura games as well. Although the sale page doesn't make that very clear. I added the Desura key and I got all of the games. Which would be annoying if I had any of them on a different distributor.

Sam & Max is added to your Desura account, but requires Steam to play. I think if you launch it from Desura, it'll launch it from Steam. That's why Indie Royale doesn't mention Desura for it.

This is correct. I used to think, "Oh, it said the bundle doesn't include a Desura key for that game, but it showed up anyway. I win!" But if you try to launch/install the game, it'll give you the same Steam key from your Indie Royale page and tell you it needs Steam to activate and launch.

Well that's bullshit, it means I won't be able to play it either. Unless it's just a glitch?

Someone says this every time there's a Steam only game in an Indie Royale. There's a reason they didn't list it as being on Desura properly...

Ah, that makes sense. One of the things I hate about Steam is that just because you don't buy a game through their store, doesn't mean that you don't end up with Steam anyways. I don't mind in this case so much because it's so cheap, but it is kind of annoying when you end up with Steam ware through the backdoor.

Fusing a store, a social client and a free DRM solution for developers into one thing was the smartest thing Valve have ever done. Not good for the customer necessarily... but certainly very clever and good for themselves.

Developers go "Yay free DRM!", Valve goes "Yay, free customers!" and the customers go "Yay, free overlay!".

I hope so. I REALLY hope so.

LOL, when I want free overlay, I launch evolve.

Pathologic would make me buy this bundle even if it costs twice as for now. And even if it includes just this single game. Wow. Just… wow.
