Lenriak: What a shitty pricing model, I've ended up trying to pay through paypal 27 times. They just seem so badly prepared for the amount of customers trying to get in first second.
Even though i have respect for them doing this bundle i would have to agree they were not very well prepared at all.

Maybe they should have got way more prepared than this considering how well the first bundle sold.

Now hundreds (or thousands) of people are desperatly trying to pay for it and are unable to due to the traffic.

At least they are going to apparently reset the price and add more webservers, that's a step in the right direction.

There's nothing wrong with the pricing MODEL. The implementation needs work. The model is fine.

again i have to spend money (i desire Fate of the World)
Got mine... took me 40 minutes, but have my code... only Steam redeam does not work yet :D

OmegaX: I'm not familiar with the games. Are they actually difficult? Or is the bundle named like that because it is difficult to buy it? (still not able to buy)
No, it doesn't mean the games are difficult (just as the launch bundle didn't mean the games were 'launchy'). It's a reference to the phrase 'difficult second album(/book/movie)'.
Okay how much is this damned thing gonna be by the end of the day? Was gonna just give em 4-5 bucks anyway, I assume less than that?

da187jimmbones: Other than the indie bundles and humble bundle, what are some bundles that have been offered in the last year or so?
Goodplay.org had a bundle a month or so ago with a few decent games with an absolute choose-your-own-price scheme. The money went to sending overseas US troops some goodies like (I'm guessing here) food, games, and p0rn (I told you I'm guessing).

keeveek: Don't worry, price will be reset when they sort the things out with servers.
Its not the price, its only gone up about 40p. Its just the fact that I tried to pay 27 times thats got on my nerves.

I guess what I said just came out wrong, your right. I meant that the should have prepared better, the first round went fine because not everybody was aware of the bundles existence prior to launch, but they should have prepared for at least the same amount of customers that the first bundle trying too buy the second bundle on the first second because their all fully aware of the following bundles. :)

You can argue equally the other way around. The model is wrong for the implementation :)

As I said before, there's not much excuse for this in the days of EC2 where they could have had 100 new instances up for just a couple bucks and taken them down by the end of the day.

Wouldn't argue otherwise :)

Yeah, this is just lack of preparation on their part.
F**k this shit! It really is a difficult bundle, difficult to buy it is.

45min and they aren't stable yet. I've got two times to the cart, but can't finish the process.

Model is OK. Their implemention is half-assed, they were not prepared for such avalanche of people rushing to buy it... but it was obvious to everybody the second bundle would be hit hard, their fault for not being prepared.
Well, the page seems to work now, but steam keys don't show up...
I'm just going to check back every couple hours to see if things are stable yet.
