Ugh. More money for GOG sales then :P
As soon as i have the confirmation that all games are really DRM free i'll buy it, mainly for the Zeboyd Games.

"Windows" means there's an independent installer apart from the Steam and Desura keys, and as far as I know they're always DRM-free. The Arclight bundle had games with activation keys, but I think they were offline keys, and that was the only time I ever noticed anything remotely similar to DRM among all the 15 bundles I bought, so you should be safe. I have the Zeboyd games from GamersGate and if they're DRM-free over there (which they are), they will be DRM-free in Indie Royale, too.

The Zeboyd Games are DRM free everywhere, it is more or less impossible to get them with DRM, even if you wanted...

Thank you for info! I also assumed that they would be DRM free, just download aand install. I have no problem with cdkeys. I just don't like to install third party software or download the game from other sites other than indieroyale or have other DRM. And ever since i bought a previous bundle that had a game announced as drm free and it required a cdkey plus online activation, i got suspicious and began to ask for DRM-free confirmation for every bundle.

I've only seen their games for sale on Steam. Have they began to sell them directly?

Out of curiosity, which game was that? UnEpic?

Well, no guarantees for this bundle, as I don't own it (yet; I'm still pondering whether it's worth it). But if a previous bundle had a game with DRM on it, it was the exception to the rule. Usually they are 100% DRM-free, when they have the "windows" label.

He probably meant that once they're downloaded and installed, you can move the folder or even copy it to a different PC and run the games independently of Steam. It's also on GamersGate and Desura, on Desura it should be 100% DRM-free, not even requiring the client for downloading, on GamersGate you need to use the download client first, but you can extract a DRM-free version during the installation process or just move the folder same as with teh Steam version.

It was Pressure. I bought the bundle mostly because of it.

I'll have to check Desura, though, if it only requires download from them without any client installation i might consider it. But my mind is set on a direct download hassle free install from Indieroyale.

Actually UnEpic went completely DRM-free by the time it was featured in an Indie Royale.

Damn, thanks for bringing that to my attention. I hadn't tried installing it yet...

I've written to them to complain now, I take false advertising somewhat seriously.

Novotnus: Cthulhu Saves the World looks interesting, the rest - not so much.
If anybody picked the bundle and doesn't want it (Desura) - I have a spare Tales of Valor (Steam). The key is from a polish shop, so I'm sending first, just to be sure it's not area locked.
If you'd like Cthulhu Saves the World, then you'd like Breath of Death. They're made by the same people, similar gameplay and both have similar humour (aka funny).

Also, I seriously did not know Cthulhu/ Breath were on Desura as well! :O

Did you get any answer? I should probably write them too but i don't know what it would accomplish. From my part i will never buy any bundle with games from that publisher. And I am now a bit distrust with indieroyale.

About the cthulhu saves the world DRM, i got different answers. Indieroyale guaranteed me that it had no DRM, but zeboyd published on their page that it might need a Desura key. Well, I've bought the bundle anyway and will install it this weekend. On a worst case scenario i'll never buy from indieroyale again.

I'll post here my experience soon.

Apparently they didn't know they'd been given a version that required online activation. They offered me a refund, but I declined because I was happy with the bundle for the most part. I hope they make sure this doesn't happen again.
Hm.. I wonder if the reason the Desura version of Pressure requires a key for online activation is because of the online multiplayer.

I was wondering how that'd work, because the Steam version uses Steam servers for the online MP.
