PenutBrittle: The idea behind Indie Royale bundles is to support indie games, we always offer excellent games at a price you cannot beat - so please recognize this and support the developers participating by buying your own bundle.
That would be great if you could allocate your contributions mostly to those of the games which are new to you. But if you already own, say, Puzzle Agent 2, why would you want any of your money to go to TellTale this time, unless you feel you underpaid for the game when you purchased it originally?

That was a very memorable game from my childhood. Made me appreciate Poe's stories, I did a project on him in College due to that game. But yeah it certainly does a good job of being disturbing. I still have a boxed CD. I hope GOG gets it someday so others can play it considering how hard it is to find these days, I never did finish it.

Has anyone worked out what the difference actually is between the Steam and Desura versions of Children of the Nile?

Didn't think there was one but if Desua has more content...that won't last long. Steam won't let Desura out run them.

I have 1 Desura key for this bundle

and the lesser offer

1 Steam Key for Anomally
Can I have the Desura key please?

Um, you know that every IR bundle's Desura key is tied to the same account, associated with your email address? And is also the same as the key used to go to the bundle's URL? So at the very least, anybody you give the Desura key to will have access to your IR page for that specific bundle.

Besides which, to me it seems far more dishonest to keep the Steam games while giving away the Desura version, then just giving away or trading Steam versions of games you already have.

You were beat to it via PM but you're second runner. Need Anomally?

Now THIS I get really angry about.

You paid for a copy of the games in this bundle. By giving away the Steam and Desura keys separately you are creating two copies from one sale. This is totally not cool, and I really recommend you reconsider handing out your Desura keys just because you only want the Steam ones.

Thanks for the warning about the code being tied to my bundle....the person I handed too I'm assuming to be pretty honest so no worries.

The latter part of your post doesn't make much sense though - I had a few of the game on the Desura key already on Desura (for instance I bought Mayan directly from the developer upon release last month) so it was more practical to hand off that key.

However Anomally was the only Steam key that I already had.

Already have it, but thanks anyway. Now let's see how much rep I lose for that post...

So if there are duplicate games in the bundle either be ready to toss the duplicates or not purchase the bundle at all?

My conscience can handle it...alot of these developers I contribute to directly upon initial release of their games before they make it to bundles while many others wouldn't even bother to argue about it in a forum because they've already aquired them all through torrent.

Enh - Even if you're left with just one rep point - If you know you're in the right that's all that matters.

No, it seems more like they're saying "Sorry, the Desura version is inferior!"... I'm trying to work out if that's actually the case.

Duplicates are a separate beef. I've said my thoughts on those more than enough, it's up to the individuals.

It's when someone buys a bundle and hands off a Desura key to one person and a Steam key to another that's a whole different thing. You're making your own buy one get one free sale, and taking advantage of a company's goodwill. That really pisses me off.
