Asbeau: Are you saying Hack, Slash Loot doesn't work on your netbook? I have a standard HP netbook and it runs fine.
Dunno, it works on my netbook and my desktop PC, but it's kind of sluggish on both. Doesn't feel right, not much fun to play, and I gave it the benefit of the doubt and I assumed it was due to compatibility issues ...

Apart from that, I'm not a big fan of Cardinal Quest but I still liked it better than HSL. To tell the truth, I don't really see the appeal of it as a commercial game when you can get Dungeons of Dredmor for the same price or play some acclaimed freeware rogue-likes instead.

i saw Unstoppable Gorg and Depths of Peril and i couldn't type fast enough to buy! I Don't know anything about the other games yet. I use to own Depths of Peril on disc (lost?) and almost bought Unstoppable Gorg when it first came out. I am a big Soldak fan.

Well, I like the fact that all games (except one) are DRM-Free yet the games do not attract me much. I'll skip it.

I have to say I haven't played either of them for more than a few minutes myself for exactly the reasons you cite. I went back to DoD and started my umpteenth run instead.

The big advantage with cardinal quest over other Rogue-likes (or Rogue-lites like HSL) is that it is such a low commitment game. You can finish it in 15-30min. Still not worth its price though.

On the other hand, contrary to Dungeons of Dredmor (and I believe also contrary to Nethack and a few other rogue-likes) you also have to finish it in 15-30 min or give up, since your progress isn't saved when you quit the game. ;)
Nice bundle. I've been thinking about trying Unstoppable Gorg for a while, so this is the perfect opportunity.
Eh, decided to drop $5 on it. Games look like they may be some mindless fun.

Edit: So far tried Inferno+, and its pretty cool. Nice to have a twin-stick shooter that's NOT an arena score-attack game.

Finally and Indie Royale I want to buy - and finally one I'm too late to get for the lowest price -_-

Maybe I can get a better price if I wait a little while.

Also, Unstoppable Gorg has a demo on Steam, for those who are unsure on it.

I think the bundle is attractive enough on the whole. Having three of the six games as Steam only is a huge deterrent though.

***oops I lied***

Only one game is Steam-only in this bundle.

What the hell I just double checked before claiming that and swore thats what it said. Guess I saw what I wanted to see. Statement Retracted .
There are at least two games there that look pretty good. Gotta be worth the asking price.
Indeed a very nice bundle, just got it, really wanted to try Tobe's since it was released :)
