A mighty cheap delight!

Pid and Shelter, two beautiful and heart-touching games form the Might and Delight team, are available up to 85% off today, for Windows and Mac OS X systems, on GOG.com. That's only $2.98 if you get them both, or $2.49 each if you want to get them individually.

[url=http://www.gog.com/game/shelter]Shelter lets you roam the wild as a mother badger, taking care of her jaunty little cubs. The wild is beautiful and bountiful, but don't take Mother Nature's generosity for granted, and don't feel too confident. You'll need to explore your surroundings in search of water, food, and safe haven, while constantly keeping an eye out for the lurking predators. Danger waits at every step, especially for your furry children. Hunger, cold, and death--that's what the fate has in store for them, if you don't tend to them properly. Terrifying as it may sound, the game's beautiful graphics and meditative soundtrack by Retro Family will grant you many moments of awe and relaxed bliss.

Pid is one gorgeous looking game. We're talking storybook quality here. Eerie and twisted as it is, the planet that you explore offers many fantastic sights and wonders to the unwilling traveller. Beauty comes hand in hand with originality in gameplay. The gravity crystals in your characters possession, allow you to float in mid air or shift the gravity pull. With all that unique mechanics, unique atmosphere, and challenging level design, this delightful title will satisfy every platformer fan. The game now comes with the Challenge Rooms expansion!

Don't wait--help yourself to a double-pack of gaming beauty with our Pid and Shelter Indie Gem Promo, featuring both games up to 85% off. That's only $2.98 if you get them both (75% discount rate applies if you only get one game; title already owned on GOG.com counts toward the higher discount rate, so you only pay $1.49 when completing the set of two). The offer lasts until Thursday. February 13, at 10:59AM GMT.

NOTICE:
It's also worth mentioning, that today the indie sensation of 2013, Papers, Please, received a big language pack update and now offers English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, and Russian versions. You can now get it with a special 20% off discount (that's $7.99). The offer lasts until Sunday, February 16, at 10:59AM GMT.

PaterAlf: I know, but I can't see how it contradicts my statement.

Aningan: Well once a game has been given away for free, huge discounts like this can't really devaluate it more.
He's not specifying these games per se.

Finally a sale for Shelter. I have no idea if I'll like this game but the artistic direction alone seem to be worth it.
Bought Shelter back on release day. It's gorgeous! At $1,49 it's an absolute steal.

Time for me to check out Pid.
Nice, grabbed these and a few other games I had my eye on.

Licurg: I've never played Pid, and it doesn't look like something I'd like, so I'll pass. Shelter, on the other hand, is an excellent game, although it is a little short and with very little replayability .
I played Pid a bit when I first got it. It's a platformer for the most part. You drop off I think light crystals which move you around to get from place to place. I don't think I finished the mansion but the basic mechanics were enjoyable.
Hum, I own both already. Have yet to try Shelter, but I recently started playing Pid and I recommend it, especially at such a low price. It's unique, charming and has a very polished, professional feel to it.
Already have PID, that makes $1.49 for Shelter. I actually feel bad grabbing it at that price. It's a game I was genuinely looking up to. >.<
Wow, don't think I've ever spent less than $3 on 1 game, let alone 2. I had Pid on my wishlist and hadn't heard of Shelter . The game looks beautiful from what I have seen. I feel bad for getting these 2 at these prices.

It would just be plain rude not to get these for $3 - unless you already have them - bought
Shelter just joined Pid on my GOG shelf. For this price I couldn't say no.
The one time I think I develop nerves of steel, people are putting the idea in my head that even if I hate these, it's not a waste of money. Guess I'll toss Kentucky Route Zero on top and continue to beat myself up for having no self-control.

Eight days after hitting game number 300 on here, I'm up to 311...

Doesn't everyone have the Keane collection by now? If not, we blame those people for the Insomnia Sale fiasco.
