Boneless, not spineless!

Octodad: Dadliest Catch, a heart-touching story of a Nautical-American struggling to be the best parent and husband dry land has ever seen while keeping his true nature from his loved ones, is available 40% off on GOG.com. That's only $8.99 for the next 24 hours!

Octodad: Dadliest Catch is about destruction, deception, and fatherhood. The player controls Octodad, a dapper octopus masquerading as a human, as he goes about daily life. Octodad's existence is a constant struggle, as he must master mundane tasks with his unwieldy boneless tentacles while simultaneously keeping his cephalopodan nature a secret from his human family. In this original, imaginative indie title, you'll be challenged to live through a full day in Octodad's life, and even venture outside the house. There's tons of physics toys to play with. Jointed objects, springs, slippery surfaces, and more! Combine that with visual style inspired by the American 1950's aesthetic (but with futuristic twists), and what you get is an appealing bundle of slapstick fun you will never forget.

Wrap oll of your available arms around Octodad: Dadliest Catch on GOG.com, for only $8.99. The 40% off Gem Promo offer lasts until Thursday, May 1, at 9:59AM GMT.
I've seen reviews and gameplay footage of this game. It looks a lot more fun when you're playing with someone else rather than just by yourself (or just watching and listening to bantering between a couple).

Regardless 40% off isn't enough to entice me to get it. 66% off I might get it, 75% off (or higher) and I probably would get it.
Definitely getting this, was gonna get it on a Steam sale a while ago but wanted to get it here and I just realized that it comes with the original game as an extra!

Yep buying right now.
I just don't get this game... I really don't. Just like goat simulator. I don't get it ;)
Another nice looking indie game...likewise, not a deep enough discount to justify adding to the massive backlog!
Hmm, I guess this one is worth a try...
The trailer looked really funny, but I'm buying Consortium already, so maybe another time =)

This.
high rated
I knew he was an octopus the second I saw him. The tie gave him away .
Not my cup of tea.
I bought it when it came out. It's a fun little diversion for one afternoon, and the bugs from the original version have now been fixed and the difficulty adjusted. This game is a one-trick pony, making players laugh by deliberately making the controls difficult and putting the protagonist in situations that require quite bit of dexterity. The result is often hilarious. Everything, from clumsy coffee making to knocking down objects from shelves while shopping, is guaranteed to make you at least smile. If the game were longer, it would overstay its welcome and the single joke would be stretched out too much, but as such it's a delightful little game.

I also have to praise the voice actors. Usually kids who provide voices are bad at it and it shows (remember Deus Ex?), but here they're better than most voice actors I've heard in AAA games lately.
I'm torn on this one. On one hand it looks like a nice bit of easy going fun. On the other hand I'm sure I'm going to be having nightmares from those screen shots alone. :P
Pass
Not really interested. Will pass on this one.

Charon121: remember Deus Ex?
Nope. Is that food?
