Austrobogulator: Am I racist if I think all of these games look the same?
no, you're not, they do look the same... doesn't mean though they are the same or that they're both bad :)
Have some GOG game(s) to trade for Aarklash.

Seems like an interesting game, and rpgs are usually about dungeons, killing etc thus easily looks the same as any other rpg.

This and Blackguards?! What are you doing to me?!
Skipping this. It's on my wishlist, but I already have a big backlog (my first one yay! )
Kunovski is a very generous and kind soul :) Upvote him a bit if you will
Very tempted must say.
It's a great game. I've previously bought it on Steam, unaware that it would also be released here and enjoyed the game very much. It is a bit linear but the tactical combat is top notch. You must use the pause button quite often and the fights are quite challenging, even the "trash mobs" can wipe your party if you stick to the same strategy.
The game really shines with boss battles: positioning, interrupting key skills, debuffs all come together to create an amazing fight that'll keep you on the edge of your seat.
The only negative I found were the vast number of puzzles which breake the pace. They're not that hard but after a while you just think to yourself "Not another one...".
A worthy buy in my opinion for any fans of tactical combat.

Edited for grammar

^This :)
Been keeping an eye on this game for a while but unfortunately I'll have to wait until the next promo to get it as I'm at my dollar limit for this month. It gets pretty good reviews and looks quite well-developed, so it's definitely at the top of my wishlist.
How does the combat in this game compare to the Infinity engine games?

are you aware that if you'll keep writing these posts, GOG will just say "hey, they all seem to have more than enough games, let's stop releasing new ones for a while" :D

JMich: They have an AMA on reddit at 16:00 GMT, so probably then, or after the AMA.

Niggles: Why does it need to be an AMA on reddit for it to launch? sheeesh....
All signs in haven and Earth say that we'll be releasing the game at 4:00PM GMT, and we're waiting with the AMA for the release, not the other way around.

The AMA will give everyone a chance to ask the creators of Blackguards some questions, plus we'll be giving away another Daedalic game set in the world of the Dark Eye. Please, feel free to ignore the AMA if it's not to your liking :-)

Hello random nice looking RPG game. I would like to play a game. Will you hold my attention for a long time?

I really wish I could really commit myself to playing these type of games. I bought the game though. I reckon I don't have time for these type of games anymore and I always play strategy games so its easy to drop in and out of the game without having to recall the story after months away from the game.
Nice promo. Worth the price.
What is an AMA? Where is it held?
