Perhaps Majesty 2 does not need to use Steam client.

Licurg: So only the ones that say DRM-free? Shame, some of them I really wanted... Guess I'm gonna buy it for 1 cent for Praetorians :P
A shining example
I own every one of those games! That's so frustrating. :(

Pheace: A shining example
They have Steam... And I only have like 26 cents in my Paypal account :P

You got it for Praetorians, which doesn't use Steam.. what kind of argument is that for paying 1cent for it? Being poor is ... marginally acceptable I guess. Could still just wait to get it till you could pay a fair amount. How would you like it if everyone waited to buy Sacrifice till they could get it for 1 cent? ;)

What was I supposed to do? Pay what little money I have to a company that sells almost only Steam keys? That's not supporting DRM-free...

EDIT: And Sacrifice is something completely different :P

Oh god, this kind of debate again...

The company agreed to include their games in a bundle from 0.01. If somebody pays 0.01, maybe it's not the nicest thing in the world to do, but it's still in the rules publisher agreed to, and it's not "unfair".

But yeah, if somebody is saying "I just supported DRM-free gaming by paying less than a dollar" than well... It's funny :P

OMG!
I can not expect to get it!
Thank you very much!!!!
It's really ironic that your sarcasm is only interested in how much money I paid for DRM-free games! If they have featured more DRM-free games that requires more money, and if I'm also interested in playing those games, I might also have bought the bundle regardless of how much it costs (of course if it is a reasonable price). For example, I bought 3 Indie Royale bundles so far because those bundles only featured DRM-free games. It's very funny to see that what I paid for a game has become a tool for judgment.

Accatone: I bought only the DRM-Free games in the bundle! No more steam.

SimonG: Wow, you paid less than a dollar for two games. I'm really impressed of the stand you are taking ...

Considering that transaction costs and bandwidth will probably eat up your dollar. It is not unlikely that your "purchase" actually cost them money. Yes, I am judging you on being cheap.

If they didn't want that, they wouldn't FUCKING SET MINIMUM TO 0.01.

I never pay this low for any game, but please STFU.

They wanted to set minimum for 0.01 because it makes better publicity. Maybe the cost of transfer is higher than that, but gain from better publicity is also important.
I judge you for being an asshole

Verdict: asshole.

Judging by the average price, it has steadily risen. Which would indicate that people have spent more than the average in general. Some people spend over, some over, and at the moment it is working out ok.

EDIT: Ah crap, when i said the average was building steadily earlier, i thought this was the thread about the GOG interplay promo.
