Upon rereading your articles PenutBrittle, I remember now just quite how dodgy GATT is. I've lost almost all of the limited sympathy I had for them.

Shady bundle publisher meets shady game developer, now both are involved in public mudslinging about who scammed whom off.

I'm not surprised.

I do hope that the other devs who had games in the IndieFaceKick bundles, and the customers who bought them, don't end up taking collateral damage.

Like others, I believe that this is probably not the only bundle to close doors. I'm not surprised that IndieFaceKick is the first one though. It seems to have been managed in a somewhat amateurish way - which is not bad per se, but they then tried to make up for their lack of professionalism with aggression, and this just doesn't work.

Celebrity? Hardly! But indeed, that is my site and my posts. Neither are all that relevant to this current controversy, but it does show that the GATT people are pretty deceitful.

Indeed, that was the part that ticked me off the most. They made a big deal in their launching post that they wanted to be fair to developers and ensure they got proper compensation for their game while simultaneously promoting a site that does the exact opposite. And they didn't see a single problem with it. Ugh.

But in the end, they got exactly what they deserved. Just a shame for any customers or devs caught up in the mix.

I wasn't really interested in the bundle in the first place, but when I read your posts on the matter I was quite shocked that the GATT guys wouldn't think such an association would be a bad thing. I figured this was how it would end.
