Licurg: It is absolutely disgusting, one of the worst games ever made.

Austrobogulator: Any particular reason why? I just checked out some footage of it; it doesn't seem particularly exciting, but it doesn't seem like the worst-ever kind of bad...
Mainly because of the controls, they're horrible. Also, the guns are very underpowered, and the biggest damage-dealer is the knife :/

EDIT: Oh, and the enemy AI.... Doesn't exist.

But I'm bigger!

And my avatar is slightly larger too....
Hellforces also gets the prize for the most useless night vision item ever

"No Steam, No Desura, Pure DRM free."

... Okay, why does every indie bundle seem to hate Desura now? THEY'RE A STORE WITH AN OPTIONAL DOWNLOAD CLIENT SLASH FRONTEND, IT'S NOT DRM. >:|

I don't know. To be honest, hearing that makes them sound a bit incompetent.

Asbeau: Adam's Venture is apparently a favourite of 'christian gaming' sites and is for kids to 'encounter fragments from the Bible and, through a variety of puzzles, learn about common Christian values'.
Oh wow! That sounds like it's going to be my all new favouritest of favourite games.

:P
Wow, judging from the comment of this thread, this is a fairly pathetic-sounding bundle. Seems we're running out of good indie games.

Can't recall IndieFaceKick ever running into them

A few of the most recent bundles have been lacking in the 'good' and 'indie' aspects. This one seems to be lacking both qualities. It's kind of sad. But inevitable, given how indie games could never be produced at the same rate as these bundles are flung out there.

I played Hellforces and it's not a bad game. They ripped a little too much on big franchises like Half-Life, but other than that, it's a good game. That Entente game and Hard Truck: Apocalypse look decent too.
The lack of Steam or Desura (or GG or GOG) keys in this bundle sadly puts it on my "no buy" list. I would just forget that I have this bundle, and the games would just gather digital dust for all eternity. Also, the only game in here that I'm interested in is Adam's Venture.

Also, what is up with 1C being in all these indie bundles...

The first one was nice. Not the best bundle ever, but I enjoyed the content of it.

Asbeau: I can't believe somebody has dragged out Operation Matriarchy and is trying to sell it for money.
Can't see it being worse than Revelations 2012, which is in the current Be Mine bundle. Not much can be worse than Revelations 2012.

You get attacked by rats. That's never a promising sign - when bloody everything is trying to kill you, like in a bad NES game. Especially when these rats can take more punishment than you can.

It's a pretty clunky FPS that's poorly balanced. Maybe if there weren't so many better FPS out there then I'd be more forgiving. But personally I didn't feel like going any further with it than that sewer section with the rats.

Hard Truck Apocalypse on the other hand is alright. Not GOTY, but fun and different enough to stand out.

Does it have bad controls? I read somewhere that it's uncomfortable to play without a gamepad, and that stopped me from getting it in the first place.

Oh, you haven't been to the Central American jungle and temple, human outpost in an alien world (including alien Indiana Jones-ish puzzles), hell offices (literally, there's a level of offices with demon mobs and screams of agony playing instead of music)... Admittedly this also means you haven't seen much of the ragdoll, haven't discovered that most enemies die fast to one gun, haven't stumbled into a level with iffy scripting which may get you stuck... fair enough...

There's gamepad support?
I felt, that the game controlled much better than similar Bandits, because none of the cars in HTA have fixed forward-firing guns. Everything is mouse-aimed, like the turrets in Freelancer.

So it gets a lot better later on I take it?

M&K support is better than most games have these days. Worked just fine for me.
