I just discovered something cool. Remember the Indie Love bundle at the beginning of the year? It seems that the same guys are running their next limited-time sale: the Summer-Of-Love bundle. As a satisfied customer from their last sale, I recommend this as a good way to discover and support indie game developers.
Go to http://www.theindiebundle.com/ and check it out if you're interested.
Summer-Of-Love costs $19.99 and includes the following games:
AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAA!! - A Reckless Disregard for Gravity
Brainpipe
Captain Forever
Cogs
Saira
Space Giraffe
The Indie Love bundle is also back for $19.99 for the duration of the sale. It includes:
And Yet It Moves - (Windows, Mac)
Auditorium - (Browser-based, runs of the developer's server)
Aztaka - (Windows)
Eufloria - (Windows)
Machinarium - (Windows, Mac, Linux)
Osmos - (Windows, Mac)
You can buy both bundles together for $29.99
The Cipher Prime store works a lot like GOG: you buy games and thereafter you can download them whenever you want, and all games are DRM-Free. It has an interesting twist, though. When you buy a bundle of games, each game in the bundle gets added to your profile. If you want to you can give any game you own to someone else - if they accept then the game is moved from your profile and added to theirs. If you decide that you want to download a game then it becomes fixed to your account and you can't give it away anymore, but you'll be able to download it whenever you want for as long as the Cipher Prime store exists. Quite a clever way of doing it, if you ask me. It means if you already own some of the games you can split the bundle up between you and your friends and keep the ones you didn't already have.
