Is there a point in crying over milk that is about to be spilt instead of, you know, drinking it beforehand ?
Just buy the damn games now and the price increase will be meaningless.

If you look at Interplay games on DotEmu and Steam, you'll see they are all pretty much $10.

So, I'm guessing the big ones, like MDK, Fallout, Earthworm Jim, Kingpin etc will be $10 here now too. Really no need to be a drama queen OP.

TheSupremeForce: It still wouldn't be gog's fault.

ralvord: Never said it was.

ralvord: I'm not paying for anything on GOG.com if this happens.
In conclusion, you're an idiot.

You must be new here xD...

That's what I'm saying, pretty much. There's hardly an excuse for not owning Fallout and all the other Interplay goodies, considering that they've been sitting here for 4 years. People who aren't in any hurry can afford to take their time and spend a bit extra to get what they want when they want it; the others can simply get stuff now, while it's not only cheaper but discounted to boot.

I'd peg it as just as mature as your overdramatic, reactionary, stupid bullshit post. :P ;) :D :S XD :)

Um, I don't have ALL of the Interplay titles. I have a few but there are ones I would like but even at the discount right now I don't have the money for. I have more expenses to cover this next pay. I do feel this is a silly move on Interplay's part, but there really isn't much I can do besides not purchase their games at a higher price point. I'm not trying to complain so I apologize if it sounds that way.

I would love Giants, Earth Worm Jim 1-3, MDK 1+2 (especially 2), Kingpin (I can't get my disc version running sadly), and Shattered Steel. However, unless my finances improve (or I find better employment) I can barely afford one of those titles at the current price, and probably not at an increase. As much as it pains me to say it, Redneck Rampage is probably the last Interplay game I was able to get.

I mean don't get me wrong; I am happy we aren't losing the titles, but I know many people who are in similar (or worse) financial situations will simply have to do without. Oh well, at least I have a couple of titles. :) I'm going to party like it's 1999...wait 1998...umm...PARTY! :P

Damnit, your name always makes me hungry! >.< I should go see if I have some peanut brittle in the cupboard.

Increased prices are rarely welcomed, but seriously, there is almost no way GOG could have handled this better than they did. And being angry at Interplay is downright counterproductive and useless.

I too am glad they at least get to keep the titles here. Perhaps you'll get a chance to buy these games during Christmas assuming they go on sale (probably will), or you could always enter one of the many giveaways, lots of them seem to be Interplay games recently.

Yeah, it's a good thing, I would be sad to see such great titles disappear from GOG all together. I realized my GST Rebate was added to my account, so I'm going to treat myself to a couple of the games. I know I shouldn't, but I figure it's a good opportunity.
