We're all deeply in sadness after the shocking (literally shocking) [url=http://drmcomic.gog.com/DrMTheDastardlyDoom-Page3.jpg" target="blank]events that has recently occurred at the GOG.com office. The evil and mysterious Dr.M. broke into our headquarters and turned The French Monk into a pile of ashes with his deadly laser gun!

He's been with us for a short time, gave us lots of hints, but apparently his time in this world has come to an end. To commemorate The French Monk we're giving you all a papercraft doll representing this fine character. Now everyone can have their little French Monk by their side or on their desk.

We'll miss you dear monk.

To download the papercraft click here for part 1 and here for part 2
Must be the only one around here who doesn't care about these teasings.

I don't, I have 15 games on my wishlist, whoever the new publisher is, no matter how great can still wait.

Merchito: Sorry for the lecture ! :P

Miaghstir: That was no lecture, I believe you need to read the post again.

That was an exact quote from the so-called "French" monk, hence the statement above that line.
Oh yes indeed ! Thanks for pointing it out for me :)

Merchito: Er... "Sacrebleu", not 'sacre bleau'. (Replacing actually Sacre-Dieu, but since swearing God's name (Dieu) was forbidden in medieval times, it was replaced in this expression by the word "bleu" (blue) just because it sounded almost about the same.)
Note that this expression has not be in use for six or seven centuries, now :))
Sorry for the lecture ! :P
Actually, I appreciate learning a bit about the history of a cliche I have heard for years and not understood. I wondered why "Blue" was mentioned, what was so sacred about a colour :)

Thanks for enlightening me!
Their cute and are what makes GOG, GOG. If you don't care for it, just wait for Thursday when you'll be sure to be informed on the identity of the publisher.

Let the rest have their fun. :)

I do hope DR.M killed me for a good reason. Edit: actually, I do KNOW he killed me for a good reason and I am sure you guys will be happy when you find out :)
