I am extremely excited. I really really want Natal, even though I know it's just me waving around like a maniac (more so than the Wii, which really says something). Natal is going to work on PC, but it's probably for some boring office application anyway. So any of you PC-only gamers, or people who don't own the 360 plan to get one for this?
I'm with Winston Churchill on that one:
No sports.
I'm waiting for neural interface. No sense in wasting money on this sweat inducing POS.
Flailing around wildly in front of the screen has never really been a void in my life I felt the need to fill.
I originally wrote failing and was wondering if there was any need to correct it.
Do not want. Nuff said.

Neural interface.....now, that's something interesting.
I know I am not going to buy it or the PS3 project. Buying a Wii was an expensive mistake enough for me.
When I play games I don't want to burn calories. I want to be able to play from every angle, with as little movement as possible.
What I am trying to say is, s**** Natal, Sony equivalent and Wii.
What exactly is supposed to be the appeal of having to flail around like a complete tosser in the living room instead of just sitting down comfortably in the sofa to play games is completely lost on me.
I've already decided to not get Natal. I'm hoping Sony will introduce something more sensible during the year, which will probably see me shift towards PS3.
Isn't Natal retailing for something stupid like $150? For that price you might as well just save a few more quid and buy a Wii.

If you're playing a fighting game, and you have to do an actual roundhouse kick in real life, in order for your character to perform a roundhouse kick on screen, then the whole point of playing a game is lost. You may as well just take up taekwondo.
That being said, I may get one anyway for my son. He might find it very entertaining.
I got bored with the Wii and sold it.
I can't see me getting this, even if works with a PC.
There would have to be some sort of amazing games for me to change my mind, but I imagine we'll get the usual sorts of things.
The main issue with these things for me is the response times. The Wii (I never had motion+) was nowhere near responsive enough, and sometimes the actions required were ridiculous when a button is so much more intuitive.

heh. imagine the new generation of game nerds...
when kid claims that he beat Street fighter 7 at hardest difficulty level, you would be better off by not making him angry cause he might be telling the truth.
and that truth can kick your ass.

Imagine some kid getting mad 'cause he got beaten in a fighting game and tracking the other player down to exact revenge in real life, only to find out the opponent wasn't using a hand controller...

Imagine Natal }+ etc being used with a FPS game and some poor crazy person killing someone after having played this.
I Wonder if the destruction of living room items will surpass that of the early Wiimotes ?
"I'll kick your butt, evil bad guy - take this HI-YA !!!!"
SMASH !!!!!!!
"Aw, crap - there goes another widescreen"
Definitely buying this. I love Wii Sports and the thought that this will work without a controller is awesome. I won't buy the PS3 one (too close to the Wii) but Natal has me excited
