Foreigners from the USSR, Zaire and the Ottoman Empire among others. People from Alabama are really up to date on global politics and can take the piss out of any other country and their backward ways.

I still say all MP's should have all their properties etc taken away and be made to live in a council house for a year before they can stand for a seat

I really don't see why there shouldn't be a training program that includes things like that. We can just scrap the House of Lords while we're at it. Titles shouldn't be enough to have a say in government. Especially not the way the government hands out titles...

I suppose the only real way is to vote in a more down to earth party. You won't find one that currently has seats, and you won't find one that is down to earth and in a fit state to run the country. Maybe one day...

SNP couldn't run a pissup in a brewery. Look at the fucking abortion they made of the Edinburgh tram system. I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw that fat arsehole Salmond, plus half a fucking billion pounds for the Assembly building and it's leaking already, AND the fact that Salmond has his tongue up Rupert Murdoch arse atm, he's last person I want to have a foot hold in Scotland.

That's worse than English public transport? Seems about the same to me. As in: massive and inexcusable waste of public money. Just look at the damn trains.
