Magnitus: That's sums it up for me.
I like having a pile of spare games left to play and then pick what I'll play next.
Yeah, every now and then I get in a mood, click on My Account, and I'm playing in a classic great old game. Last weekend I was playing Disciples 1 and thought about adding to it, and just clicked on Sid Meir's Alpha Centaure, and OMG, what a great game!!! So, I'm playing those two and think, let's try another, and this time I pick Lords of the Realm, and wow, another very fun game.
And then late at night when I have trouble sleeping is when I'll put up one of the pinball games I have and just play that little to no thinking game to pass the time till I can sleep.
Played Gothic 1 to completion. And man they it fun, especially with the mod I found that put the band playing the music on the stage back in there along with some other great mods. The one thing I am a little worried about is the number of RPG's I've purchased, as they usually take a lot of time. I'll still likely at least try every one, but I'm sure I won't finish every one.
But in the last week or I've gotten Fallout 1 AND Fallout 2 for a grand total cost for both of $2.99. Hard not to take advantage of that. I've got both on discs, and have played 1 but never finished it and I know I will finish that one. And now I know I won't have to worry about getting the darn thing to run on my newer machine or finding the patches which might be difficult these days. $2.99 for two all time classics??? That was AWESOME.
This weekend I'm going to try out Legend of Grimrock. I pre-ordered it but didn't download it yet. Wanted to wait and read some reviews to give me an idea of what to expect. I think I'll like it a lot.
Oh well, maybe I am an addict. But the addiction is playing them, which leads to purchasing them. I dunno, that explanation might not fly too well either LOL. Ok, I'm an addict. And I don't care. LOL
