If you got fired, didn't they give you compensation?

If I were to be fired, I'm sure I would - as I'm a permanent worker.

Well I am extremely lucky to enjoy programming. Other than that, today's job market is pretty much as crappy as it can get. Not to mention that the job looks too good to be true, and as far as I'm concerned, that's not a great sign. (Now I just sound ungrateful - that's not the case, I'm just not the trusting type.)
