I have thought about this a good deal and I know what I'd do. I'd make a furry First Person Shooter.

What does the internet love? FPS games. What Does the internet hate? Furries! Can you think of a better way to hurt the internet?

Also I can be the only one to notice there aren't many Indie FPS games? And most of the ones there are are multiplayer only. I'd want to make something that focused on a single player experience. in the vain of Shogo: Mobile Armour Division. Strong on story and world. No cover, all man (or furry in this incidence). With maybe a bit of influence from Bulletstorm and Quake 2.





I wont lie. I want Shogo 2. Not a reboot or a remake. A real Shogo 2 :(

i'd make a 4x TBS with empire building depth like Civilization, but with strategy combat and multi-layered map like Age of Wonders. I'd pass on 3D graphics but would make the graphics pretty. Focus on streamline play. Obsess over efficient user interface. Invest in decision making depth. Poll the 4x community for what they find lacking in current games. Allow modders free reign. Release on GOG.

Thanks to this thread I got the GameMaker Studio Standard version and after a few tutorials I consider to make an Alien Breed clone just to see if I can pull it off.

A strategy game inspired by the book series "Axis of time" and the movie "The Final Countdown".

Limited modern military units with limited supplies against WW2 units vastly superior in numbers that can re-supply.

Another idea I have is to create an Asian themed RPG, either in the vain of Throne of Darkness with a diabloesque approach, or more along the lines of Jade Empire and have it more 3d. The first idea is obviously more Japanese, while the latter is more Chinese I believe. I'd either make an original setting and mix cultural aspects, or just go full out Japanese.

I would however not mind touching on an Asian culture rarely seen in games, such as ancient India, Mongolia, or even Thailand or Vietnam in the time of Angkor Wat. I'd probably create a whole IP out of whatever I chose and design, over years, point and click adventures, as well as full out RPG's. All with a very good narrative with voice overs, touching music, and proper ambiance.

Something very similar to the Baldur's Gate Series. The game would not have to be in a Fantasy setting. A CRPG using the superior 2D experience, with a great story, lots of quests and side quests, and mod-able like the Neverwinter Nights Series. Full Multiplayer support, which to me means LAN play, and not having to connect to a server to accomplish. DRM-Free, no DLC, and a complete Single Player experience.

Mine's way beyond that. Design's fairly locked down. There's a significant amount of code already written. It's starting to become an actual game.

Something contra-like that could bring back the spirit of the 80's action movies. I'd call it Murderous Murdergun.

And the sequel would be called Righteous Murdergun.

The final one would be Ultimate Murdergun Black.

That would make me happy. :P

Sure, there are colours here and there, but overall it needs a more saturated palette. And "cuter" characters. A style similar to [url=http://www.gog.com/game/dust_an_elysian_tail]Dust: An Elysian Tale, perhaps.
