I guess you could but hardly anyone would remember it. Why? Because back then crap titles usually did not sell and studios either made something good or went bankrupt (so no more crap sequels either). The video I linked to talks about one of the top triple-A fps franchises.

I don't see how people can put "modern games" into a single back and toss it in the river, games like Stalker or Farcry are a billion years away from Medal for QTEs and Modern Straightwalkingfare.

Medal Of Honor Warfighter looks like garbage. I like that the creator of the video, doesn't blame the publisher and the developer for the game but the idiots who go out and buy such shit, then enjoy such digital shit and look forward to more of it.

hehe, the section that vid ended on can actually be completed just by pressing forwards, it will nudge you left and right to put you in the direction it wants you to go, it might as well be a rail shooter. It took me longer to go through it trying to turn left and right (silly me for thinking i had an actual choice in this), hitting all the little dead ends, than just pressing forwards and having the game guide me through the area for me.

And since this spoof was an ad for another FPS game Bulletstorm (or was it? Yes? No? The answer is: yes?) which apparently didn't sell too well... Ironic? Anyway, can't blame publishers publishing games that sell.

Welp, Bulletstorm is actually a fun game. Why would the kiddies play it when all they need to do is tap "e" and feel imba? Yeah baby! Tap that key!
