By the way, I'm not even sure there'll be a promo this weekend; last year, there was none the week after the mega-sale ended.

But at least this year we have a new release!
After having most of the catalog on sale leaving wallets dry, a weekend promo is downright pointless. Steam is not having one either it seems.

well think of it this way

If there will be no promo today then there at least must be a new release today in that case...

Roman5: ...right?
Is it bad of me that I draw some cold, cruel pleasure from your despair?
I just imagined you refreshing GOG until 4:30AM or something, desperately mumbling `...right?'

DrIstvaan: I can absolutely understand why so many newer users desire an Intrerplay promo, but from what I gather, they aren't in the best possible monetary condition. I guess they need every cent they can get, and that may be why their games weren't featured in the epic holiday sale, and in that case, we can't realistically expect them to go on sale now, either.
However, only their catalogue would be something new promo-wise, as we could get every other game for a discounted price for three weeks.
We have to wait and see.
Well, a lower price means a lot of people will buy their games. They may not get $2.50 out of a sale, but they'd still get $1.50, multiplied by who knows how many people buying games....

Hell, they have around 10 games I want. I'd get 'em if they were available for a lower price.

That's true, but it could be that they wawed this away and decided to not give them at a lower price anyway.
Or their relationship with GOG isn't as good as it used to be... who knows the real reason (aside from GOG, of course)?
Guys I don't want to ruin your day... but there won't be a promo this weekend. Please don't shoot the messenger. ;)

DAMN! :D
Well, that was somewhat foreseeable. Like I've said, excluding Interplay, they could only have given an "encore" promo for some titles.
Once again, holiday in Poland yesterday, and this means LONG WEEKEND!!!!!!!!!!!
