... I need your help.
I have a code from amazon for The Hidden Secrets Pack. The problem is I have the retail version of the game, but the DLC code must be redeemed on Steam first, and i can't do that. So i'm asking if anyone here that has AC3 on steam without the DLC can redeem the Steam code and give me the DLC code. PM if you want to help me.

Probably not that many people here who already bought a game like that, let alone on Steam, let alone without the DLC, and probably most importantly, are willing to activate a DLC only to give away the key, because I think that means they lock themselves out of that DLC since you can't rebuy on Steam.

I guess it depends if the DLC downloads through Uplay or Steam, if the former then it's no difference anyway.

Do you HAVE to redeem the code or are you just assuming your are? Because if it's like other steam activated games you'll be able activate it whenever you want.

I hope you get the problem sorted, it's a fantastic game.

He can't, he wasn't suppose to buy from Amazon, he is not from US.

That's how dlc for non-steamwork games on steam works. You buy it and get a code in the game's "View CD-Key tab" to redeem. I'm not assuming anything, its just how things work. But I don't have the game on steam, so I can't redeem the code amazon gave me, ergo I cannot see the "real" DLC redeem code.

I know it's a fantastic game, I've already played it. I just wanted the bonus content.

You totally lost me on the non steam works thing. So if I get this right you bought the game from amazon with a steam dlc code?! But your game is not a steam game... have you tried putting in your game key code into "add game" in steam to add it to your library?? Then you add the dlc code which also adds to your library. Otherwise I don't know why they'd give you a non steam game with a steam dlc.
