Dear GOG team,

I am a resident of the Netherlands and we use the iDEAL payment service for online payments. Is there any chanche GOG will implement this service in the near future? I would much rather buy from your establishment than from steam or other online distributers since you have superior terms and conditions.

But if a 'blue' come near here he might know more. I personaly never heard of that.

I think this will depend upon how many people have iDEAL available, but none of the other options.

For those not knowing it, Ideal is a service that allows to charge a payment on a SEPA bank account. This restricts its use to European Customers ( Euro or non Euro, as the SEPA payment system goes beyond the Eurozone. But that's not the main limit : the payee must also have an account in a bank / financial provider that is certified by Ideal, and the list is mostly made of Dutch financial service providers :( http://www.currence.nl/en-US/Aboutourproducts/LicenseesandCertificate/Pages/iDEAL.aspx)

I read that headline and I thought myself, "well, I dunno about anyone else but my ideal payment service is one that sends me money on a weekly basis and doesn't require me to work."

On slide 25 of this presentation, it says that GOG intends to implement iDeal, along with several other new payment services, later this year:

Don't worry, the search feature on the forum ... needs years of careful study to start being useful. Searching on gog forums is a bit like praying to a capricious god.

Indeed, Google is sometimes better, but I've had poor results there as well. It seems that information here doesn't want to be free.
