You know, I've been wondering how long we'll still have to wait for a new wishlist. I think GOG promised to rework it at least since Winter 2010. They said it would come with the next website update but it didn't and AFAIK they never ever mentioned it again, not even when they told us of their agenda for 2012. Are they even working on it or is this project stalled? I know it's not the top priority but seeing how much avoidable wishing posts we get every day it's not irrelevant either. In any case some official statement would be in order, methinks.

Sure, new users should inform themselves first before posting, but IMO they're not the only ones to blame ... Why does the wishlist have to be hidden for over a year?

I often think that the GoG wishlist is a bit superfluous to the running of the actual business side of GoG. Yeah it shows them the popular titles to go after, but they really only needed that RAW data one time (which they got) and even then it only hints at which publishers to push for.

Far as I can tell they've already got a fairly full game plan of acquiring and releasing products and publishers so having an official wishlist might actually cause more problems since new people would be assuming (hoping) that top voted items would be appearing soon.

I think they promised it again when they asked us to fill out that survey. I think they also were going to release the results of that survey...
