I have played it. I enjoyed it but havent finished it. I plan to go back to it and play through it with a friend. It is however very dissapointing too. It had the potential to be a deep and interesting game but falls into Diablo style grind shortly after the start which is why I stopped playing and will only go back when i can do it cooperatively. Friends make everything better, even the dull bits of games.

I have it, like it. Never got far in it, hoping to get a few people and play through it online. Maybe.
I haven't taken more than a few steps... dispatched of the two goblins outside Barcelona, and entered the city, basically.
Actually I mainly got it because I thought it was built on the same engine as Baldur's Gate and Planescape: Torment as I wanted to complete the collection, then I found out it wasn't, ah well, some day I may even get the time to explore the game a bit more.

It's very different from Diablo. Lionheart is based on the Special game system from the original Fallout games, and was intended as more role play-centric than hack & slash. Unfortunately it ran out of development time and money, so it ended up not really being either.
If you're looking for a Diablo clone, it's not an obvious choice. If you'd like 5-8 hours worth of decent RPG and don't plan on finishing it, then it's a pretty good choice. Just beware that there isn't much game after the first 5-8 hours, so if you like to finish games, Lionheart will end up feeling like work.
Sacred might be a better choice. :)
I think its a great game for what it is are there any dedicated players who would like to make plans to grind and play it?
I have it, but hate it. IMO, it does more things wrong than right.
I thought the game was terrible. =(
I played it to almost the end, Really good actually but IIRC it got really hard at the end and I lost interest.
Well, at least one good thing came out of your quest to play Lionheart: You found GOG. You'll find plenty of classic RPG goodness on this site. :-)
Sadly, Lionheart is just below average, and turns into a real clickfest at the end of the game. There is a lot of combat throughout IIRC, but it just gets silly and difficult if you make the wrong character build.
Sacred is a better choice from the GOG catalogue if you want a Diablo like game.

Yup. I played through it as a fire mage and often had to go afk or read a magazine while my character regenerated mana. It's no Diablo but you might enjoy it if you like to hack and or slash.
ok i get it nobody likes it,well i do
The only thing, which matters is that it's available for the ones, who wants it, whether they like it or not. If you like it it's just great, as an added bonus you may find other great old games you thought were gone.
