Some of you might know me from planning the 2010 and 2011 (unofficial) meetups and from attending the 2011 one.
Now I'm sure some of you will complain about the 2011 one, but there were people there so it was a meetup.
I'm about to suggest that we do one in 2012, like a few weeks after I arrive in Ireland.
EDIT: since Joe is such a naysayer, I will proceed to give you an example schedule.
A simple meet up at a Cafe, a meet and greet of sorts. Let people arrive and introduce themself.
After that, short sightseeing of Dublin (lovely place. beautiful river).
15m recap at Cafe to allow people who got lost during the tour and other people to join in again.
Pub hopping?
I know of an arcade is central Dublin so we should probably switch out the recap at the Cafe for that (if there's interest).
After pub hopping I know of a decently good place to eat and if you're looking for accomodation have a look at Abbey Court (quite cheap, several bunk beds in a room. has showers but no hot water).
