It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

tomimt: It has actually restarted a DL for me a couple of times after I've shut down the downloader and restarted it. I think there might be some sort of bug in there.
Yeah, it has happened to me as well a few times BUT I'm sure that in a few cases I mistook the integrity check for a restarted download (I think at least in past versions of the Downloader you would even see a download speed during the integrity check) and I think in at least one other case the game had actually been updated in the meantime, starting over for good reason.

phaolo: Was this weird question really so urgent? O_o
Yeah, with such a title one would expect something like "What should I do to open my parachute? I know I'm supposed to know that but I've forgotten. Please answer me in one minute or don't bother."

Right now Sanjuro's post still has me laughing my ass off. I can just picture some guy falling out of the sky on his smartphone trying to Google 'parachute'. XD

I can see it now: "Did you mean Parachute Pants"? with the first four links being about MC Hammer.
I personally never used the GOG.com Downloader. I just use the windows installer for everything up to this point on GOG. Did you try not using the downloader and just use the installer StealthPandemic? (I know NoNewTaleToTell mentioned this, just asking again since no reply was given) That might help get the games. If however you are insistent to only using the Downloader for the games to be installed, then good luck since I can't offer any help on any issues with the Downloader since I never used it nor researched with it. To the other point, unless you have good ram and internet speed, big multiple downloads running at the same time slow down functions on the computer from my personal experience and babark summed it up nicely too. Since it's been close to a day since you posted though, I think you may have resolved it given the degree of urgency you presented with this issue.

On a more off topic note, the title of this thread had me think of a somewhat old flash game that was kind of funny and somewhat frustrating platformer to play. It's called No Time to Explain. I don't know if it is allowed to link flash games on this forum (never done it before) so just find it on google and play it if you want. To sum it up, you are dancing in your house when suddenly your future self bursts through the wall saying he is you from the future and there is no time to explain and you have to follow him when suddenly a giant crab monster grabs him out of nowhere and runs off! He leaves his gun behind, you grab it and you follow the crab monster to save your future self! Sort of random but the urgent nature of this thread made me not only think of it but play it once more too!

You mean it wasn't really urgent? And here I was answering in such haste I didn't even read the question...
I don't think they sell Parachute Pants anymore. What was the question??

P1na: Yes! Better to regret doing something than to regret not having done it.

o_O

The downloader is a downloader manager , it doesn't run the installer .....

If you manually download executable + bin files, the ending result will be the same. From my experience if a download stops with the browser you are screwed (you must restart it from scratch), the downloader at least retries if there's a problem (there's a limit of retries though)

The more you know. Thank you. I never even attempted to using the mode since I never installed this to use in the way of downloading. I saw the perks but in the end decided to just manage it myself since I didn't want an app to get in the way of downloading the game. Like I said, I just clicked install while it was always off by default and it hasn't been a bad experience yet. That was what I was suggesting.

Edit: To reflect on your edit, I never experienced a failed download from gog, hence my lack of motivation to explore the Downloader for such purposes. However, should problems arise that regard failed downloads multiple times, that is one avenue to explore, thanks!

I understand your point, when the downloader was less stable i refused to use it, but now, it's better than using the browser, because my download speed isn't very good, so some files could take a very long time to be downloaded, and if a download stops , that's too bad... (sure i got couple of downloads which failed with the downloader but its a major improvment vs the browser.)
