Faithful: But, will the game have any form of DRM attached to it? More bells and whistles with DRM is much less enticing to want to buy the game.
DarrkPhoenix: They seem to have shifted BNet from a multiplayer service to a form of DRM. From the information available thus far it seems you'll need to be logged into BNet even for standard single-player, and although there is a "guest mode" available for single-player that doesn't require you to log in it sounds like it will be a crippled experience.
Afaik, that guest mode will have the full functionality of the single player campaign, but not the bonus stuff, like tracking achievements, stats and stuff like that.
Something similar to Steam, when you start HL2: EP2 for instance, and disconnect from the internet, you can play the game, but you won't earn any achievements.
