What the hell does that have to do with pessimism? I don't think you know what that word means.
I've said from the beginning that I think GOG made a grave error in insisting upon developing their own forum software. That's not their core competence, and it shows.

I do agree with you. This site's forum is pretty clunky when it comes to posting stuff, since you cannot use any kind of BBCode and you cannot preview your message before sending it.
There are some good things. You can very easily mark subcategories you wish to quickly access and you can also follow topics inside those subcategories with ease. Another good thing is that people can't post any kind of signatures, which often are some stupid graphical s**t that doesn't have any kind of message, aren't funny/informative and take way too much space.

Well, seems like somebody got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning... this is an international community, and English isn't everyone's first language. As you should know.
As for the forum, I think it's okay. We're still in beta, so I'm guessing things like previews et.c. will be implemented later on.

you keep using that word, I don't think it means what you think it means.

There are a couple of things that annoy me about it, and that is:
-When you click new post, or edit post, it comes in a new window. I'd prefer a 'quick post' feature, like invision's IP.Board
-When you click a thread you are automatically sent the last page (or post?), which is really annoying.
Otherwise it's pretty much OK.

You can change that in settings

I don't mind, some things could be better some features are missing, but all in all it's just a forum.

Should probably looked around a bit more.

I do quite like the forums style. Perhaps lacks a few functions here and there, but is still very good, helped of course by you good folks.
