I just had to share... I went to a flea market and there were a bunch of games someone was selling. I wasn't planning to get anything (so I didn't bring cash), just letting my son check out stuff. Here were the games I found, each were only $1:

Frank Herbert's Dune
Full Throttle (jewel case version, w/ manual, etc)
Outlaws (by lucas Arts, jewel case version, w/ manual)
Majesty Gold
Warcraft 3
Guild Wars


I scrounged around in my car and found exactly $1 in change, and walked back in, buying Full Throttle. I now have it installed and running on my windows 8 computer, lol...

Anyone else find awesome deals like that lately?

GuildWars DVD is useless but I understand the whole excitement :)

Edit : and don't lie, we know you racketed a kid to get the dollar (yours even maybe !!!!) ;)

I thought about it, but decided not to :-p Though, I almost convinced the 9 year old to get Outlaws ;)

Nice. Most of the good deals I find are on sales / bundles, but Full Throttle isn't sold digitally, so it's a good find.

Awesome finds man! Honestly I would have loved to have been there to snag Outlaws. I have a copy of Full Throttle myself (not sure what happened to the big box probably in the closet somewhere), and it always warms my heart to see other people get a copy of such a wonderful, entertaining and well made game. It's funny, growing up most of my cousins had different gaming tastes (or in some case not gamers at all), but we all had Full Throttle and played it repeatedly, it was the one game we all talked about and could enjoy as a family :). Hell, even my dad (who was primarily a flight sim/racing/rts/4x fan) loved the game.
