Jordon3211: actually yes, we do. and to crassmaster i never said we had retail copys thats just a stupid thing to think. we has full master copys. look you guys obviously dont know the rights we have or what we can do. you try to make a good point but its not. the fact is we have then ALONG with distribution rights. yes we have many boxes that weve had for a year that have done nothing but collect dust, but if you want to keep throwing crap at me for trying help help you guys enjoy some good games as well as myself then fuck it i'll throw them back in the storage, if you want to see these MAYBE, just let me do my job sitting there questioning is pointless just be happy im trying

Look, we're not trying to throw crap at you. The thing is, we're just sceptical. If you think Activision Blizzard are going to let you sell Diablo to a worldwide audience through GOG just because they gave Xplosiv a license to sell a boxed budget version in Europe many years ago, well... good luck with that. But thanks for trying. :-)
But whatever. We are not the ones you need to talk to. You need to talk to GOG, and these original publishers (but be aware that GOG are talking to most of them themselves, and already have deals in place with a number of them, just like Xplosiv had back in the day).
Honestly, the best thing you can do is to focus on the Empire catalog. Not the Xplosiv-releases, because it is naive to think you'll be allowed to sell third party games online - these publishers don't need you as a middle man here, you simply can't fulfill the same role that Xplosiv did in retail. But focus on the games that Empire released/developed themselves - there are still plenty of good games in their library that aren't on GOG yet. You'll still make some money, and we'll still be happy because we get more GOGs.

If they can be brought here legally, here are the games I would definitely buy:
• Age of Empires 2 Gold
• No One Lives Forever
• Resident Evil 3
• Diablo
The others are maybes.

You have made one of the most extraordinary posts . . . ever. . . on an international game forum. I'm not sure what your expectations were but skeptics will make blunt, doubtful, probing posts. IMHO, you have broken some standard business protocols which cast doubt on your legitimacy. Expecting only positive responses . . . that's not gonna happen.
If GOG were to start negotiations today it would be several months or longer before a game would appear in the catalog. The best advice I can give you is to stop posting in this thread. Everyone wants the games you listed, make it happen and the skeptics will disappear. Getting angry only defeats your original purpose . . .=)
OKAY OKAY OKAY WHATEVER.
Jordon3211, you seem like a well-intentioned person. You have master copies of all these awesome games that I'm sure almost EVERYONE here wants to play. But does this mean that just because you have master copies you can just sell them anywhere? I doubt it.
BUT if you can get legal approval from Blizzard/Activision/Yahweh/Freddy Krueger, by all means, fucking get to it and sell those games on GOG. It's natural for us to get skeptical, but you have to prove there's nothing to worry about.

Jordon3211: So now you have valuable properties that you're just going to toss aside because of skepticism? Uh...yeah...that really ups the credibility.
Hey, I hope you really do have them, I just don't find that any of this approach makes any sense. Maybe I'm wrong, I HOPE I'm wrong, but obviously I think differently.

Crassmaster: you need to be tought in the ways of sarcasm.
Well thanks all for your input guys, it really helped, now in terms of blizzard i doubt they'll care enough to put out a classic they still sell in bundles but others wont be to terrible to get, yes talks with the companies will need to be done first, but we're no where near that point, in terms of business protocol, technically i didn't break anything since it was only a thought, which i decided to share with you since it was my idea and im also a gog fan. so skepticism aside i'm being perfectly truthfull about what i'm saying, i'll try what i can.

What he said. If you get lucky, you can convince Capcom to offer it's catalgue here 83.

Btw any of you guys e-mailed any smaller ( or major) developer companies or publishers and asked them to release their games on GOG ?

Out of curiosity what did Blizzard say? We all know the real reason (We sell old games for a fukton on our own site) but it would be nice to hear their spin.

Well, you could do it my way.
Look up for the /v/ collection list on wikia.
Lurk on the PC games list for games which didn't make to GoG yet.
Lurk in Wikia after devs.
Write a proposal/email/letter/whatev' to them
???
PROFIT!
Did it in the last 2 months with American Mcgee, creator of Alice(2000). As far his mod told me, he would likely to release it, but EA holds the license. You can go ahead and bug him on his forum:
http://www.americanmcgee.com/forum/
I also traced of the whereabouts of the creator of Anarchronox:

Only available at twitter however, and I don't use Twitter. Maybe someone else can help.
And here are some devs sites I found thanks to wiki:

Here, have your fun. I am currently trying to get some more Ubisoft titles(Rayman, SC3,PoP:WW) released here. Got a community manager as sympathisant, this could maybe fasten process.
