Navagon: People still buy Ubisoft games?

They haven't published a game I've wanted to play for years. The last one was Morrowind. I'm sure people can come up with Ubisoft games they thought were good; just assume I wasn't interested in it.

Yes. Go to the Ubisoft forum and see. All they do is complain but still buy their products. Alot of them happen to be PS3-lovers and casual gamers.
Also, WIth Prince of Persia TFS Ubisoft will try to win over the fans of the upcomming Disney Movie. The game is so dumbed down they expect 11 yr olds would play it.

Ah, human stupidity at its finest.

Navagon: Yeah. Didn't they make that Rainbow 6 game? The one about the six unicorns? Not my cup of tea, to be honest, but it still counts as a game I suppose.

Resistance is futile !

Well, Ubi bought Might and Magic a while ago, the ones they didn't make were quite good, and HoMMV wasn't all that bad, granted, that could qualify for years ago.......
Making your name takes years... Losing it takes only a moment...
I guess this is Ubisoft's story.
EDIT: ...
I don't fucking care if people pirate your game or not. I don't fucking care if you are trying to fight piracy or whatever. To tell you the truth, I don't fucking care about you, your games, your policies, your employees (harsh, but yes), or anything else that is related to you anymore.
Sometimes, you have to think more before you act. Since obviously, you guys working at Ubisoft, or the ... heads that are your bosses, don't, I don't have any else to do with you or your games.
I wanted to buy your games and play them nice and easy. Since I cannot do this because of your new DRM policy... YOU, Ubisoft, LOST ME as a CUSTOMER.
The end.

I'm a big fan of the first three Splinter Cell games (and I have Double Agent, I just haven't played it yet). I also loved Assassin's Creed. I would buy both AC2 and Splinter Cell Conviction, if not for this draconian DRM.

Dam i was hoping the future of pc gaming would be drows take over the world then were force to play games that suck and tell us about why you should all ways do what a women saids. then the hackers would come along to save us by finding a way to let us watch drow porn or by leting us play good games that may have drow porn in them.

I love how angry Sam Fisher looks in that last uninstall screen. It's like he couldn't defeat the DRM, so he just got pissed and walked away from it all.

stonebro: Ubisoft have successfully alienated me completely from their customer base. I won't purchase another Ubisoft game again - not even if one shows up on GOG. Not at least, until they stop this charade and completely remove the assRM from all their titles.

I'm with Stonebro, Ubi has shoved me away with a sour taste in my mouth. I don't need any of their games while the DRM is up and running in any form.

I don't plan to buy their DRM games, but I would buy a DRM free game on GOG. I don't really hate ubisoft as a company, I just hate their DRM, so I would support something they produced without it.
If R.U.S.E. has this DRM in it, I will be annoyed (although I'll probably being playing it exclusively online so it won't change anything).
Is this DRM in all UBISOFT games PUBLISHED? Or just ones developed in house?

They plan on all future games utilizing it. Published and developed I think, though developed is for sure.

That should be the theme song for GOG.
