Unfortunately, from my vague recollection of that fateful mistake a few years back, the Video Games section would've been decent if people didn't also Rule 34 up that section and generally act like dicks the likes I've never seen on even System Wars boards. There are ENTIRE FRANCHISES of which I can't see the same way again. (Hell, it won't surprise me if they've already ruined the Transformice shamans, now that they know about the game. You name it, they'll fuck it.)
Anyway, my best way of summing up the place is "incontrovertible proof of John Gabriel's Greater Internet Fuckwad Theory". (Normal Person + Anonymity + Audience = Total Fuckwad, if you don't remember the formula.) The original pic says UT 2004, but that's nothing on this wretched hive of the Internet. Hate, sex, and more hate-they can't even agree on the sex, for that matter.

I actually printed out the theory and hung it over my computer. Jerry and Mike pretty much summed up the entire internet with their Fuckwad Theory.

Let's face it - you don't need to know billions of people to be able to call them all "fuckwads", right ? It's really not about me.
It's about how easy it is to slip into this way of thinking. To make general statements based on superficial impressions of limited personal experience. It's about seeing individuals belonging to certain group par excellence as members of said group.
Simply remember this every time you're about to make a very general statement - whether positive of negative. While it seems impossible to speak only in certain truths, it is worthwhile to note how fragile are the bases for our reasoning.
As for 4chan - it's pretty much a blue pill/red pill choice. You can either reject it and lead a normal life or embrace it and it becomes a learning experience, a chance to ask yourselves a lot of questions and doubt things that were previously obvious. While it's just a wild guess, I'd say that the latter is a lot easier to do once you're a wreck and don't have much sanity to lose.
