I'm from Melbourne and I agree with this. Like the OP though I'm starting to question the quality of this country, especially in light of the recent political changes, but I won't get into that :p

I get the expensive bit, but it really pisses me off when Brits piss and moan that X brand of food and drink is not available in a foreign country. If you move to a foreign country, you have to give up on certain home comforts.
Do I complain that I can't get Dany desserts, Milka chocolate bars or decent beer in the UK? No! I make do with I can get locally *slurps on my Ribena*.

Well, that much I know, but thankfully, we have seven neighbouring countries that do video game selling better, and almost everyone lives near enough to one of them :)
I used to live near enough to the Dutch border, and now I live an hour's car trip and a ferry trip away from Denmark.
