It's a false positive. Disable your av temporarily(or at least the active file scanner portion) and run it again......if it still fails redownload it(sometimes the virus scanners can alter any apps they detect as trojans/viruses to an extent where they get corrupted.) and try again.

Also run as admin as well.
1) Uninstall AV Mcafee (seriously)
2) Install Microsoft Security Essentials
3) Install Icewind Dale II
4) Enjoy great game
Thanks all gamerager had the solution, I disabled the realtime scan and then tried again :)

Both are good. I used Avast for 2 years and switched over. Love it.
But microsoft security is not freeware, is it?

It is if you own windows.....also it will be included standard in Windows 8.

MSE is free. Initially they tried to charge for it, then there was a class action lawsuit which likened Windows customers paying for MSE to car customers being forced to pay for recalls. The result was that they were forced to include it free with Windows.

I've heard nothing but good things about it from many people....even though it is a MS product it is one of the best free avs around.
