Galmteam: Yeah I know its on its way. :) I'm just wondering whether it will be months or years.
They already announced the Linux stuff is coming in the fall, although no specific dates given, and since everything is very much in development they didn't announce any list of games being included either. It's quite premature for that sort of disclosure really. I think it is fair to both assume and to say though that with The Witcher 2 on Linux, it is super high likelihood that Witcher 3 will be also, and since these games are made by GOG's sister company that we would be safe to assume that the Linux versions of these games will exist on GOG.com when the union of 1) The Linux platform is officially launched. 2) The games are ready in GOG distributable format to ship on GOG.com
Is an actual pre-announcement really necessary for something that is this obvious? :) Seriously...
Likewise, I think it makes total sense that any game that is in the GOG catalogue which has Linux support on Steam or elsewhere, has a very high chance of being released on GOG for Linux as well, if not during the Linux launch, then trickled out over time as they're able to prepare the games and test them. My personal assumed answer to any kind of "Will the Linux version of game XYZ be released on GOG after GOG launches Linux support officially?" is most likely "yes" and also "why wouldn't it?"
Assume "yes" then wait and see is my recommendation.
