So we have come to Week Twenty-One - Join me for what I am calling the Calm Before the Storm Giveaways. This is Week Two and over the next several weeks I am going to be taking it easy - on the giving and the wallet - in the anticipation of hitting the Half-Way Point at Week Twenty-Five when the Storm will hit.

So, for this week we have Heroes of Might and Magic® 3: Complete Edition up for grabs. This GOG Game Code has been made available to me for use in my giveaways by jsjrodman. So, make sure to thank him and Please Enter. I will randomly draw for the code sometime on Monday Evening. Enjoy.

For audience participation this week - I found myself not behaving as my age would suggest. I jumped down the stairs and over a child gate (from about four feet up) in order to surprise my grand-daughter. Much to my own surprise I broke a heel spur and now will be on the mend for six+ weeks. So lets hear about some of the silly / stupid things you have done.

As Always - The Hall of Heroes can be found here
may I have the honor of being the choosen one?
let me tell you about the time when I tried to do a planking on a skateboard going downhill.I(mostly my chin and torso) kinda regreted it.

Sorry to hear about your injury Lou. Hope you get better soon. Not in +1
Ouch! Get well soon!

Count me in, thank you Lou & jsjrodman.
I'm a fencer at my University. In fact it came up and I told a story about how it all went during this year's birthday giveaway. But the short version is I rolled my ankle 3 times, then twisted it out of place in the two weeks (And on the morning before) leading up to the tournament. I was so determined not to miss another tournament, after another rolling kept me from one last fall. I rolled my ankle in the elimination match (very first in the day of what would be around 24, after a handful of placement matches) in front of a big crowd of strangers, felt stupid because it hurt so badly I ended up crying from the added damage on top of a multi-damaged joint, but held out long enough to finish the match (to a loss) and one of 3 matches in the day to receive open applause. Then because I was a crazy dumbass I went and continued to fight in the next day's tournament on a pained ankle. I continued to fight and fence to the end of the semester, and my ankle still hasn't recovered. And I'm planning to fence more than ever this semester, plus add another workout schedule. Don't be surprised if the year ends up with me as many aches as you have with 1/2 the age.
Aw Lou. Your mind says "heck ya I can do that" but the body said "no way jose", huh? Well take care of yourself and heal up, no pun intended :).
I have the game so not in but good luck to those who are. Thanks and uno mas.
Ouch! But yes, I'm also feeling my age. Despite 17 years of classical ballet training, I tripped on a sidewalk and fell flat - banged up my knee really badly, skinned my palms, smashed my left pinky knuckle and apparently cracked a rib or two. The wine bottle I was carrying as a gift to the dinner party did not break though ;-)

Not in!
Best wishes for a quick recovery. I love the HoMM series, so am definitely in. Thank you, Lou and jsjrodman. +1
I'm in.

I can't share anything silly I've done because I haven't done anything. I was always a very serious person.

Best wishes for a quick recovery.

PS: Thanks jsjrodman.

So thank you to you and jsjrodman and I'm in :)
Im in thanks for the give away.

as for the dumbest thing ive done, I would have to say it happened one of the few (and I mean very few) times I snuck out of my (or my friends house). In this case I was hanging out with my best friend at that time and he was worried about his girlfriend for some reason (its been to long ago and I cant remember why he was worried). His dad had told him very directly that he did not want us to leave the house. Anyway my friend decided he was going anyway and I was not going to wait around for his dad to wake up, so I went along. We arrived at his girlfriends house and I elected to stay outside towards the front. My friend went in through the back. A few minutes later I heard dogs barking and my friend running towards me. At the same time I saw A car pulling into the drive way. I should also mention that this girls parents hated my friend with a passion, and the car pulling up was her father. my friend yelled run and I started booking it to were we hid the car. It was sleeting at the time and I managed to do a backflip into A half full ditch by slipping. My friend started trying to figure out were I had gone. I pulled my self out of the ditch covered in mud and we got back to the car. When we arrived at his house I took and put on some of his brothers old clothes. The next morning his dad woke up and asked why my clothes were all muddy. my friends response was that we had gone to go get milk because we were thirsty and I had slipped going down the stairs of the house. His dad bought it. It was a fun and wild night.

Ouh, that sounds hurtfull. Hope you get better soon, Lou! :)

As being notoriously known for being irresponsible, I was having a normal day at the local after-school center, when I suddenly decided to join in on the action figure war some of them were having. Well, in short, lets just say I went to far and managed to stab myself in the eye... who would`ve thought action figures were dangerous and could turn on their puppet-masters? mohahaha... :P

And as always, children loves to see any «grown-up» hurt themselves , and laughter is of course infectious. :D

uno mas. Every time I see that I can`t help be reminded about the futile, but hilariously drinking game Jackie Chan had with Owen Wilson. «One more time» became «closer to Impalpable babbeling with each turn» :D

Or try to imagine that Daft Punk is singing "uno mas" instead of "one more time". LOL

Oh man, that is absolutely mental! I suppose men can't help wanting to impress the girls, huh? :D

I have a story that is almost identical to yours. While snowboarding I decided I would do the biggest jump on the ski field to surprise my group. Things were going great until the landing. I didn't break a heel spur, but it was very swollen and I had to be carried back to the apartment where I developed a slight fever. Instead of impressing the ladies they became my caretakers, which some have suggested to me is better than impressing them :)
