n99127: HoZ = Herald of Zakarum

It's a unique paladin shield that gives +2 to paladin skill levels, and some other awesome stuff. Never let go of it as a paladin until the runeword stuff :)
ah yes of course, if i make a paladin i always try to get two of them

TheEnigmaticT: I've been having a lot of fun with Torchlight, which I picked up from Steam during the recent Summer madness. Tons of rootin' tootin' lootin' there.
Damn straight. I've been playing Torchlight off and on since it's release and I can honestly say I really only do so because of it's loot system. It's the main thing torchlight has going for it. Heck, even Diablo II and Diablo at least had some multiplayer and some cinematics to go along with loot. Torchlight is just a simple loot fest and love it.

KneeTheCap: *walks in front of the group, takes a deep breath*

Hello, my name is KneeTheCap, and I'm a loot whore..

Currently I'm totally enjoying Titan Quest, and before that, went DS2 through three times..
I'm still proud of beating the expansion despite the rubber-banding bug being in effect for most of the final dungeon, as well as during the final boss fight. Good times.

Loot, loot, loot... I usually play it cool when stuff drops, as I find it's not worth getting worked up about it in case someone else wins the roll, but secretly I want it all.

Stuff: So . . . you will be playing Divine Divinity and Sacred Gold from GOG's catalog if your need for loot is constant . . . =)
Divine Divinity was the game that brought me to GOG!
;-}
My name is Arianus and I am a Loot Whore :D
I am not a loot whore. In fact I prefer "proper" (IMO) RPGs, instead of grinding for some effing amulet to complete a set. On the other hand, I enjoy some clickfest from time to time.

So, uh, I think I'd better leave this thread...
*walks away*
Propably the most looting I have done in a game was diablo 1. But that isn't so fun in single player mode. In some game in psx (wich was fun, never going to remember that name), there was that tower game where every other chest you had to change equipments.

IMHO, that has to be one of the most underrated games to date. They borrowed the formula from Diablo, no doubt, but they added so much to it. It really shines on a second play through when you realize that quest choices actually matter a little bit. Haven't tried the third one yet... hint to GoG.
Diablo II is there to satisfy all of my lootwhoring needs. I don't do the menial MFing any more, mainly just trade for my gear. It's all about having a godly character and soloing ridiculous content. If you guys have played D2 but haven't been at the top yet, I'd recommend getting there once if you have the time. Immensely satisfying.

for all you lab rats...
I confess I'm a loot whore.

And I'll give my vote to Diablo II too, even though I never really liked the skill system and the fact that low level skills are often useless - not that that matters loot-wise.

Not an rpg and not my favorite game but just thought I'd mention Borderlands for the loot-factor.

Then there are the Might and Magic games (I prefer VII and VI).

Space Rangers (2) has plenty of looting.

Looking forward to Diablo III.
