Wishbone: Okay, okay. The real question is who owns the rights to the pinball franchise. The games were originally published by the now defunct (and apparently resurrected in another market) 21st Century Entertainment. If they owned the rights, there's no telling where they have wound up. If DICE owned the rights, they are now with EA.
Well these guys have been releasing the GBA and PSP versions
I wonder if it's going to be old version under dosbox or updated version that landed on PSP, PS3, and iphone

The ideal solution would be running on WinUAE. Amiga emulation on GOG? How is that for some Hyperbole? :D

Old version under DOSBox. There is no new version for PC. Plus, this is GOG.

Indeed. The Amiga version of both games was superior to the DOS versions anyway. At that time, the Amiga owned the PC, hands down.

broken sword 1 first came out as updated version... only after users demanded the oldschool version, they added it. Either way I'm happy as I spend many hours on these games in the past

The updated version of Broken Sword was already made for PC. The updated version(s) of Pinball Dreams isn't.
you don't know that do you?
they wrote it so they could easily port it to different systems (psp, ps3, iphone), making a pc version from the code would be painless I suspect (if it hasn't been done yet)
Are there any Amiga emulators that run right out of the box?

I've tried using some and they're a confusing mess.

Runehamster: I have it from an authoritative source that GOG will be releasing an entire series of platformers starring animated snack foods.

Only if you buy Cloanto's Amiga Forever pack. Emulation isn't the problem it's licensing the Kickstart Roms from Amiga Inc. With Cloanto's pack you essentially pay for those Roms.
