Their loss if this comes to Canada. Canadian dollars are worth less than American dollars and my buying habits are calibrated for USD.

Too much hassle to do currency conversion. I'll just wait until things are on sale for less than $5 CAD rather than $5 USD and they lose money in the long run.

What a surprise, Humble Store seems to have added a crapload of Windows-only Steam-only games just recently. If they start flooding that stuff into their store, they really need the DRM-free filter in there.
I haven't bought anything on Humble Bundle in well over a year. Not since they started putting Steam-only games in many of their offers, or making some offers ALL Steam games.

They used to be an awesome place to buy games. Now I don't even think about going to look at what they're selling. Iin fact, it's probably been at least six months since I've even been there.

You'll get the same with Steam soon, they're introducing Canadian Dollars, Australian Dollars etc this year.
There are two reasons I have to buy at the "Humble" store/ bundle right now: 1: The *indie* bundles are still good, though the amount of rehashing seems to increase. 2: Linux versions for those games that have Linux releases and some even have an Android release.
Please GOG, remove that second reason.

The store itself offers no usable filters except suitability for a particular Operating System.
The Forums were great at HB when they still had them. Their "support" department has still to answer my request from 4 months ago. In other words: Abysmal.

And? That just means that my buying limit would probably be 4.50 USD (current value of 5 CAD) with them too.

...that is, if I were willing to install the Steam client. I have a zero-tolerance policy for DRM.

GMG has regional prices now too, I will probably never buy from them again, since most of the deals are not interesting anymore when $=€, I will not support that kind of math.

I planned to buy Banner Saga on Humble Bundle when they add DRM-free version. I wanted to buy a couple of upcoming games ther. I regularly checked if something changed. Now I visit the store only when a discussion about price differences arise.
Uninterested in purchasing there and even less to give publishers, who were having wet dreams about that all the time, bigger cut.

GreenManGaming heard my farewell some time ago. Ironic is that I submited my review about them recently saying I am very satisfied with them and will continue to use them primarily for DRM-ed games till they keep fair pricing. I don't even know what promos they have since they introduced their new, better pricing in Euros for me who is living in the country where we use different currency.

It is very sad to see that GOG succumbed too. I can imagine they give DRM-free policy next and will try to sell themselves for "the best community around" and "solid support".

What's this about GOG succumbing? Prices are still in $ from what I see.

Let me quote what TET wrote in the other thread:

We will have local currencies. Soon. Let's just say that getting those on board is not going quite as fast as we'd hoped, but the goal is to be accepting EUR, AUD, GBP, and RUB in the next few months.

Now that's just great. $ = € = £ prices incoming! Just like I told Humble: Have some ******* integrity. Didn't expect GOG to cave in so soon after Humble. What an extremely poor joke this is.
Oh the irony...
Seems like they're really starting to flood the place with Steam-only titles.

Yeah. I've asked the IsThereAnyDeal.com guy about a "DRM-free" filter for that very reason and he said that it'd require some internal re-architecting but he'd consider it.
