HumbleBundle published a blog post announcing daily price conversions from US dollar into Euro and Pound, rounding the prices it seems.

Furthermore, developers can configure the price for each currency or region.

"Humble Bundles, Weekly Sales, and Widgets will remain US dollar only with one worldwide price."

Eh, CKII Collection was $80 yesterday, it's 80 Euro today...
So they will have the same prices as on Steam from now on, making them completely irrelevant.

My thoughts exactly. I'm beginning to wonder if Humble is deliberately trying to force itself into irrelevance. First they abandon their three-platform, DRM-free principle, now they've abandoned the one-price-for-all rule.

The only thing it's really good for is for buying both a DRM-free and Steam copy in one go, but I bet that'll change at some point as well.

Starbound has also jumped by around €3.50 now.

As long as there is GOG, I don't care. :) (***)

And yeah, it is easy to see HS is heading the same way as GamersGate and GMG, ie. a Steam-key seller first and foremost.

(***) I lied a bit, I realized I still care quite a bit of Humble Store's Android releases. It would be nice if GOG started selling (DRM-free) Android versions too.

as long as the widgets still is international... did not actually use the store that much. Not a good move at all, understandable, but not good.

Regional pricing aka "let's fuck over our non-US customers". I see a number of large price hikes already...

I think HumbleBundle has lost its importance.
Not too much time ago when a bundle was released was an event: usually it included the best indie games you can find at the moment.

Now they simply throw away all the games they can, often repeating other bundle (like the Overlord one from Indiegala).

I'm not sure about the Humble Store's situation specifically, but other stores don't have the benefit of GOG's "workaround" that makes not having regional pricing a bit more viable.

Not that that imposes regional pricing on its own, but it could make it a bit harder to avoid when there are publishers around.

It says a lot about their situation though don't u think?. If they are doing this for benefit of publishers they have onboard then they have really changed for the worst (they were heading there slowly)

If it is just the store, then it is acceptable for me. I only care about the bundles and never really found anything in the store that i couldn't get somewhere else for a better deal.
