Red_Avatar: Folks, what makes Steam bad, is how they put your games at risk. Paying $5 for a handful of great games isn't a big risk to take. I don't mind Steam as long as the games I buy for it are dirt cheap.
Shit, it's just 1$ for a lot the people. Though, what people seem to be mad about is getting screwed over in the principle department. Don't give a fuck myself, though. GOG is what stands in my mind as a DRM-FREE haven, not humble bundle and I don't really remember it ever being advertised as anything of the kind.

Wait... do you have to beat the average to get the Saints Row soundtrack? I paid below the average since I already have the game, but now the soundtrack is not showing up in my account.

Iain: Its a shame the average is dropping.

THQ have been struggling this past year unfortunately, buying and giving a bigger chunk to them would help them out no end.
I doubt even a million dollars in windfall from this bundle would make one iota of a difference. THQ is DONE.

amok: It will be very difficult as it is mentioned three times on the page, included in the big red banner at the top. You can not claim being miss sold a product if you are to lazy to read the description. They do not exactly hide the fact that his bundle is steam only.
I don't plan to ask for my money back because it is solely my fault if I purchased the games in an impulse. But when I bought the bundle that banner wasn't there. It was actually a reaction to the complains of many buyers.

The average of this bundle is a pity.

Every game in this bundle is an excellent game on its own (except maybe Armageddon, haven't played that).

I guess many people already own those games, due to massive discounts on other sites.

False. Trine 2 was not DRM free last I checked (they claim they will make it so though) and Tower Wars is Steam only. Just because a game is sold via humble store does not mean it is DRM-free.

Trine 2 is DRM free for Linux. The promised there would be a DRM free Windows version at the end of the year.

mm, sirPrimalForm already told me. So there is now 4 games there which are not DRM free. I do not have either of them, all the games I have there (and there are a few now...) are DRM free.

Judging from opinion of Total Biscuit and from what he showed of the game in his first impressions video, it looks pretty damn cool. Not sure if it's 'up there' with the rest, but it definitely seems worth looking into.

Armageddon is excellent, more of a corridor shooter in the vein of Gears of War but REALLY good action packed game. I do think Guerrilla is a better game with it being open world but Armageddon is decent in its own right.

Antaniserse: For some reason, my mind still register GOG as the only guaranteed source of DRM-free games nowadays, while the HiB was filed under "pay what you want+charity+soundtracks&goodies" while the DRM-free bonus was never a factor when buying... and, indeed, i just realized that i've never downloaded the stand-alone installers of my previous bundles, and just registered my steam keys.
I have, all of them (that I've bought). I have also registered the Steam keys though, just as secondary backups, or as kind of reminder in my Steam list which HiB Windows games I own.

However, the biggest attraction for me in HiBs so far have been the Android bundles, ie. DRM-free Android games. All the Android games I have ever purchased are from HiBs. From GooglePlay (the Android store) I have only free (adware) games.
