Iain: Logitech do a series of controllers that have a switch on the back of them that changes between DirectInput and XInput. Cheapest one is a standard pad without rumble, mid range has the rumble and high end version is wireless.
That's pretty cool. My 360 pad has some problems with old games and d-pad sucks for emulated NES and SNES games, so I might get this.

Same here thats how I came across it, was playing Urban Chaos and when I tried my 360 pad the main character was spinning in a circle. I do have an old DI pad sitting here, its a Microsoft Sidewinder, it does still work (or it did when I put it away!). It connects via a midi port though which I don't actually have on my PC now with just using the onboard sound!

Checked out the price on Amazon for the basic pad and it was £10 cheaper than direct from Logitech. Its a great idea that they have done this, covers all aspects of gaming with a pad.
Here is a great example of what I was talking about with regards to debuts, from Wikipedia:
Humble Bundle for Android 3
The third Bundle based on Android games launched on August 15, 2012, and included Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, and Android-based versions of Fieldrunners (debuting on Linux), Bit.Trip Beat (debuting on Linux and Android), SpaceChem, and Uplink (debuting on Android), and their respective soundtracks. Those who paid more than the current average received Spirits (debuting on Windows, Linux, and Android) and its soundtrack for free. On August 22, games from the original Humble Bundle for Android (Anomaly: Warzone Earth, Edge, Osmos, and World of Goo) were also added to the Bundle. Charitable funds went to the EFF and Child's Play foundations.
Look at all those Linux and/or Android debuts! According to this only SpaceChem was available previously for both platforms. How in the world is Humble Bundle supposed to be able to do this after the THQ bundle? They will just wait for the next Windows only and/or Steam only bundle.

Sorry but I will not "bugger off" on your request. On the contrary it fuels my intention to keep going on this.

Well you didn't go anywhere the last couple of times and I'm willing to bet that you won't go anywhere this time either, because YOU CAN'T SEE THE FUCKING FUTURE.

That may well be but some scenarios are more likely than others. We all make predictions about the future all of the time both on an individual and corporate level. One example is budgets, these are done by individuals, governments and corporations all the time. Indeed your post it self is a prediction. A prediction about the future of this debate. So your post is in effect self-refuting. My predictions are based on arguments, evidence and rationality. For example is it based on what we know about human behavior and incentives. What incentives are there for developers to do anything but wait for the next Windows only bundle?

You saying that is wild speculation, doesn't make it wild speculation.

You saying that it's not wild speculation does not make it not wild speculation. See how that can go on forever and ever and ever?

Exactly, I specifically named (some of) my reasons for reaching my conclusion. All Fenixp responded with was a bare assertion that will go nowhere. He didn't interact with my point about incentives at all.
Anyway, any Titan Quest players here? I'm wondering how much does the expansion actually change the game, because I've heard that it changes the base game mechanics positively. Not sure should I start the game or wait for the bundle to be over, maybe they'll drop in the expansion before that!

I know, you're totally right, I apologize for demeaning your wild speculations like that. From now on, I will call them sexies so they have an actual, proud name. World will tremble when your sexies prove to be right!

Do I really need to go through this thread and bring back all the arguments made against your case, both by Fenixp and by others? Come on now.
