Iain: Do you want my key for it, I have Gold Edition already on Gamersgate
Thanks, but I've got an "international bundle" ;-). So no issue for me.
avatar
Drakhyrr: Well, buying Immortal Throne only is still cheaper than buying the gold edition, and they're on my list anyway.
avatar
Antaniserse: Sadly, no... it cost exactly like the whole Gold edition; the annoying thing is that the expansion adds also many improvements to the core game.
Probably a regional variation. In my country, it's about 5 USD cheaper. It won't be a lot of saving on a 75% off sale, but all right...
Yeah, but playing Titan quest without the expansion is like playing Diablo 2 without LOD

It really seems that they are desperate for more money, so they count people will buy IT on their own.
THQ, y u no add Homefront or the other RF gaems >:V
Yay they added 2 more things I already own. And no soundtrack for Titan Quest. Awesome.
TQ but not TQ Gold... Figures.

Ah well, I only paid $1.25 for the bundle, so I got no right to complain. Also already have TQ Gold disk version, but was hoping to turn it digital....

Heh, I'm playing Diablo 2 without LOD right now. Only because I traded a steam key for the D2 key. Wonder if LOD will ever be on sale...

I have everything on it for various systems except RF:A :(
dunno to buy then give people codes or wait for sale on that alone

Iain: Just checked the Steam store page for Titan Quest and the reason for the German version is not down to censorship, its actually a German language version of the game which is only available in Germany.
the funny thing is that THQ offered an official language Pack for free as download short after release but never just updated the steam version.

http://forum.thq.de/viewtopic.php?t=10044
From the Steam page: "German language only available in Germany. German low violence version only available with German language."

You get separate codes, plus "tis the season". You could help the folks at THQ out, and maybe make a friend of yours happy at the same time, while saving you money at the same time. :P

But if you mean RF:A the game, not the DLC. (Which you can get too) The first tier games are all on one key, the bonuses have separate keys (Which I think includes Saints?) I am not sure, I went under the norm because I already own Saints.
Darksiders 1 won't recognize my controller (DualShock2), and playing it with K&M is a pain. Maybe someone in this thread has had the same problem?

The core TQ is awesome already, but there were a couple gameplay enhancements (like being able to unsocket runes) that you get in the expac that make it even nicer.

If for some reason you ONLY have TQ, by all means play it, your character will go right into IT when you get it, but the expac is really nice as expacs go,

No, D2 was kind of ass without LOD, TQ by itself is really nice already.

I didn't have quite the same problem, but I did have some issues with my PS1 controller. Apparently the game only/mostly works properly with 360 controllers. What I did was download a 360 controller emulator-thingamajig called x360ce. The emulator website has some instructions for usage with Darksiders, IIRC. See if it helps you.

I'd like to see them add Homefront. I'd kick in more for that. I'm not sure there's anything else they could add that I don't already own.

Thanks, though I couldn't make it work. Will try it again tomorrow.
