Statements like this is silly because it kills any rational discussion -

"DRM is like child slave labour, you do not want to kill those poor African children do you?"
"But, DRM is to protect"
"you are killing the children"
"Artists rights?"
"There, you are now in favour of killing children for money, happy now?"
"But.."
"A child just died"
"But.."
"You are killing another one"

rational discussion....

I think the point is not to put up with everything because slavery is much, much worse, but rather not to compare the two things in the first place since they are vastly different and such a comparison does nothing but distract from the topic at hand.

I thought that might have been the case. I thought you might have had some difficulty justifying your assertion that you knew more about contracts than a lawyer with more than 10 years experience litigating mainly contractual disputes.... :)
